Sunbird: CalTech Genetics' monthly talk again tomorrow morning ... (Did George Church somehow invite me to these? ... One Stanford researcher - Dr. Kristy Red-Horse - used the word 'reverts' to describe a genetic process last month, but I haven't heard any other researchers in the monthly talks use this word, - and none have used the 'aging reversal genetics' words yet (that I've heard) * Hindsight 2020 The Allen Institute Developmental Recording Symposium * * Caltech Genetics 6/16/21: Thank you for attending Hindsight 2020 - The Allen Institute Developmental Recording Virtual Series with Harvard's Chris Walsh and Prisca Liberali in Switzerland

Caltech Genetics' Series, and exploring any mentions of aging reversal, as well as facilitating a single realistic virtual earth for genetics

Good to have many scientists studying and talking about this and not just a few mostly at Harvard Medical School.

Caltech Genetics 6/16/21: Thank you for attending Hindsight 2020 - The Allen Institute Developmental Recording Virtual Series with Harvard's Chris Walsh and Prisca Liberali in Switzerland

Dear Chris and Prisca,

Thanks for your great CalTech Genetics' presentations this morning, and greetings from the SF Bay Area. Thanks too, Chris, for writing "i am happy to let Prisca tackle that one!"

Here are the questions I asked in text chat +, in a related vein -

1
How could #SomaticMutationAnalyses work in #EmbryonicDevelopment into a #RealisticVirtualEarthForBrainScience in 1 #RealisticVirtualEarth from a #FilmTo3D App into #WikiTree for 7.8 billion people in 1 #FamilyTree w/ #MachineLearning @ChrisAWalsh1 @JShendure @priscaliberali? Thnx!

Hi Chris - very great talk, thank you! Broad question, and maybe more for Prisca, but: How could #SomaticMutationAnalyses work in #EmbryonicDevelopment into a #RealisticVirtualEarthForBrainScience in 1 #RealisticVirtualEarth from a #FilmTo3D App (eveninto #WikiTree for 7.8 billion people in 1 #FamilyTree) w/ #MachineLearning @ChrisAWalsh1 @JShendure @priscaliberali? (https://twitter.com/WorldUnivAndSch/status/1405204861025538056?s=20) Thnx! - Scott (sgkmacleod@worlduniversityandschool.org)

Chris Walsh -
i am happy to let Prisca tackle that one!

Prisca, Thanks for your excellent talk! - How could the processes you describe work into a #RealisticVirtualEarthForGenetics in 1 #RealisticVirtualEarth - think #GoogleStreetView with #TimeSlider, Maps, Earth, #TensorFlowAI with #AvatarBots - from a #FilmTo3D & #LightSheetImaging App w/ #MachineLearning? Thanks, Scott (sgkmacleod@worlduniversityandschool.org)

Am thinking, of course, brainstorming-wise of Google Street View with time slider at the cellular and atomic levels too.

Thank you both for your extraordinary talks.

All the best,
Scott

PS
Relating to Light Sheet Imaging, here's a blog post from March 2021 -

Zebrafish: CalTech Hindsight 2020 - Thanks for your great "Jan Huisken, Morgridge Institute for Research" presentation yesterday - "Hindsight 2020 - The Allen Institute Developmental Recording Virtual Series" * In what ways could one send this data through to a single realistic virtual earth for species https://twitter.com/TheOpenBand/status/1367587550274015232?s=19 (think Google Street View with time slider at cell and molecular levels too)? How best to build this for light sheet microscopy as well?" * "A computer-guided design tool to increase the efficiency of cellular conversions" Sascha Jung, Evan Appleton, Muhammad Ali, George M. Church & Antonio del Sol Nature Communications volume 12, Article number: 1659 (2021)
