The plan to move the WUaS Academic Medical Center forward to the SF Bay Area and fly there to explore this is developing:

Have now booked a hotel

Have booked a flight on Sunday, 10/1/23 (- W 10/4/23) as you may have read

Found some car rental quotes for $19/day on Kayak from Wise Car, for ex., from the Oakland Airport (after getting a Budget Car Rental quote for $284 for 10/1-10/4)


Is this all part of MIT OCW-centric wiki World Univ & Sch / WUaS Corporation 'going corporate'? Perhaps.

If this flight et al to the SF Bay Area can lead potentially to a house, possibly for a song, at 670 Ridgecrest Road Canyon 94516 (with Ed Smyth MD possibly in communication with the district 7 CA state senator's office in Orinda), it will be a great investment.
