Pleased to meet with H.E. Prof @he_belhocine, Commissioner for Education, Science, Technology and Innovation (ESTI) of @_AfricanUnion. We engaged in a fruitful, wide-ranging discussion exploring concrete avenues to translate @OSC_OCS and AUC synergies into tangible cooperation in a number of areas – from TVET qualification frameworks to the recently inaugurated OSC Institute, passing by the leveraging of contextual endogenous technologies in education and the further building of transdisciplinary research capacities in our Member States.

South-South cooperation and African integration mutually reinforce each other, making us collectively more capable to address our shared challenges and realise our common aspirations for a #ThirdWayOfDevelopment. 

I also assured him and his team of our entire support for the realisation of the 10-point agenda of the #AUtheme2024 on education.
