Hi T..,

Great to talk with you last night (for about an hour)! Would you and David like to meet for a hike at Fallingwater on Thursday 12/26/24 possibly around noon or 1pm there - and then potentially come back to my place on 5816 Callowhill St Pgh 15206 to camp out overnight and visit, before heading back to the DC area on Friday 12/27? (...and see the PS).

It would be great if you and my mother could meet especially!

Here's the 60 Minutes' George Church interview with Scott Pelley (whom you said you met)  -

How soon could humans reverse the aging process with genetic engineering?

"Dec 6, 2019

"Aging reversal is something that's been proven about eight different ways in animals," geneticist George Church says. So when will humans get to turn back the clock? Church tells 60 Minutes it's not that far away "

... and where this blurb newly says such aging reversal genetic drug therapies are not far away, interestingly.

Brainstorming, what if 5 billion (out of 8 billion) of us on the planet live past 122 years of age, while reversing aging, and possibly forever, while all having kids in all 200 countries?

Warm regards, see you soon I hope, fondly,
Scott

What are the Unitarian influences in Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture ?

"AI Overview
Frank Lloyd Wright's Unitarian beliefs and connections to Unitarian congregations influenced many of his works, including:
  • Unity Temple
Designed for the Oak Park Unity Church in Chicago, this building is considered by many to be the first modern building in the world. Wright's family on his mother's side were Welsh Unitarians, and his uncle was a Unitarian preacher. Wright was also influenced by the ideas of Ralph Waldo Emerson, a transcendentalist whose work was popular with Unitarians at the time.
  • Unitarian Meeting House
Designed for the First Unitarian Society in Madison, Wisconsin, this building reflects Wright's spiritual beliefs and design aesthetic. Wright was a long-time member of the congregation, and his parents were founding members. The building's design features a glass and wood “prow” on the southern exposure, which Wright said symbolized aspiration.
  • Organic architecture
Wright's work was centered on the belief that divinity is infused throughout all nature and humanity, and that buildings should be designed to fit into their natural surroundings. He called this principle "organic architecture". "

"What are the Quaker influences in Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture?"

AI Overview
Frank Lloyd Wright's Unitarian Meeting House in Spring Green, Wisconsin is a notable example of Quaker influences on his architecture:
  • Simplicity and humility: Wright named the building the "Meeting House" to reference Quaker values.
  • Natural materials: The building was constructed using natural materials and is designed to be human scale.
Wright's organic architecture theory was based on the idea that freedom of spirit could be achieved through harmony with nature. His work was influenced by many other factors, including:
  • Louis Sullivan
Wright learned from Sullivan's organic-inspired ornamentation and developed his own geometric designs.
  • Japanese art and architecture
Wright was inspired by the Japanese emphasis on harmony, spirituality, and geometric simplicity.
  • The Arts and Crafts movement
Wright embraced skilled handcrafting as a way to oppose the dehumanizing effects of mass production.
  • Seashells
Wright collected seashells, which he considered to be nature's perfect example of organic architecture.
Revolutionary Frank Lloyd Wright Architecture & It's Impact On Creativity
Wright's work had a major influence on American architecture, including its low-pitched roofs, open living spaces, and extended lines.

PS
Good morning, Ma, Pin, Ed1 Happy, happy and merry, merry! Are you in Boston now visiting your sister Marti and her family, Pin? Are you in Berkeley Ed with your family, or will/are you all traveling to the LA area to be with Val's extended family, or ... ? Glad T.. (L.........) and David (Thurston - is he in the US state department now even, per something T.. mentioned in our hour-long conversation last night) are likely driving to the Pittsburgh area tomorrow and my mother and I and T.. and David may all meet at Fallingwater (created by Unitarian Frank Lloyd Wright, who also designed and created some UU churches) and which may be a breaking international law too re calling itself a UNESCO world heritage site, but not being on the UNESCO WHS list - https://whc.unesco.org/en/list/ (which website I actually couldn't just access now) - and which involves a lengthy inscription process) ... with implications too for international UN security / protection of such WHS sites, and with many other implications too ...    I may invite T.. and David to camp out in my place on Thursday night (if they can bring sleeping bags, a camping pad, on top of carpet, and pillows, and towels too) ... which would be fun ... (and save another 4-5 hour drive back the same day Thursday 12/26/24 ... ) ... and it would be great to visit with them more than just walking around Fallingwater together ... Am not sure what's up with driving west again on Tue 12/31/24 to move to a newly safe Canyon 94516, with knowing beforehand I can sign 670A Ridgecrest Rd Canyon house-let ownership documents with a GEICO homeowner insurance quote too in Dec 2023, and possibly even in a new 2025 Toyota Sienna Woodland Edition XLE AWD minivan with tow hitch ... but T.. and my hour-long talk, and that they may come to Pgh and a hike together at Fallingwater to visit may bode well ... Am curious what Unitarian 'transcendentalist' or other or similar influences we might be able to see anew in Fallingwater, Ma ... how to explore these questions further before potentially heading there again (and in the future in a #RealisticVirtualEarthForArchitecture + ... https://x.com/hashtag/RealisticVirtualEarthForArchitecture?src=hashtag_click) ?  Merry Xmas, and Happy New Year! Quaker history in Quaker Valley PA (near Sewickley) in a realistic virtual earth for history . . . And how did the Quaker Valley Middle School get its name? (Often Quaker named schools emerge in the care of Friends Monthly Meetings or similar) . . . And when did they get their names? Can we find school predecessors that go back to the 1700s even for these schools?

Dustin, (Sewickley Public Library),

Very nice to meet you just now. And thanks for the information.

Some further questions:

1
In the 1955 article you shared with me on April 22, 2024, I read this

QUAKER VALLEY

..."After the railroad state was built in 1878 - an approximate date - the residents of the upper one-third of Edgeworth commonly identified themselves as Quaker Valley persons" ... and that there was a sole Church ... but nothing further about unprogrammed Friends' Quaker identity questions, for example. Thoughts?

Also, regarding specific research questions,

2
How did Quaker Hollow road get its name -

3
And how did the Quaker Valley High School QVHS high school get its name

Quaker Valley High School QVHS
625 Beaver Street, Leetsdale, PA 15056

And when did they get their names? Can we find school predecessors that go back to the 1700s even for these schools?

3 b

And how best could we add research findings to Google Street View in a #RealisticVirtualEarthForHistory even - https://x.com/hashtag/RealisticVirtualEarthForHistory?src=hashtag_click -

4
And what were the communities of people who helped name these composed of? Are there historical documents of these communities - with names, Quaker names for example?

4 a
What about the 1700s and Friends / Quakers in the area? Names, properties, Quaker Meetings with Minutes and other documents? Related property holdings? 1600s even from 1681 forward ?

5
And if there might be a connection or interweaving of related Meetings and Church communities, are there a Quaker links with

Camp Meeting Rd, Sewickley, PA 15143 ?

Thanks, Friendly greetings, best wishes,
Scott

And search on in #PeterNorvig's INCREDIBLE #ToolifyAIWUaS article, for example, further -

"Creating a Realistic Virtual Earth

Building a realistic virtual Earth requires collaboration between scientists, physicists, chemists, and biologists. Their research, combined with mathematical proofs, ethnographic interpretations, and historical documents, can Shape this virtual Earth. The process involves mapping scientific knowledge onto the virtual Earth, allowing for real-time exploration and discovery. As this virtual universe evolves, machine learning and artificial intelligence will play a crucial role in driving its growth."

Dear Dustin, Sewickley Public Library,

Nice to meet you.

Here's the incredible #ToolifyAIWUaS article -

Thanks for reminding me of the name Buzz Griffith, who has early Quaker ancestors in the Sewickley area, and whom I met and talked with.

Thanks, Scott
