Dear Sir/Ma'am,

As you are aware, AI is being increasingly used in education and one application that is very promising is in assisting a teacher in academic planning. Teachers can put up suitable prompts and get lesson plans, assignments and tests created by AI. They can even make sure that the output is suited for their school: for example, I recently asked ChatGPT to create a story involving a 10-year old boy called Arun who is sitting under a tree eating a mango, who wonders about what happens to the mango when it goes inside his digestive system. ChatGPT and DALL-E created a story, complete with illustrations, of Meera, his sister, explaining what happens! I am sure if I had asked, it would have added a poem in Gujarati too!

However, even for more mundane tasks like lesson planning, the real challenge is to provide a suitable prompt to the AI bot: As is well known, the quality and appropriateness of the response is directly related to the prompt. Remembering all that you can specify can be very difficult.

We have come up with a simple solution, called Guru Mitra, a simple form that a teacher can fill up and get a prompt that can be used with ChatGPT, Claud, Gemini, etc. The solution is available at http://zeal-edu.co.in/GuruMitra/GuruMitra.html. Currently the form is in English and requires teachers to enter lesson outcomes, prior knowledge, etc by hand. 

What we wish to  do is to create the same form in Gujarati. Also, we wish to build up a database based on our textbooks, so that as soon as a teacher selects a particular chapter, lesson outcomes, prior knowledge,etc. are automatically filled in. This would be a short term project, lasting around 3 months, with our staff (school teachers hired by us) working with textbooks to create the databases. I am attaching a copy of the project details for your information. 

I would appreciate your comments about the above. Feedback about the app would be highly appreciated, as we would modify the app based on feedback.
