How could one begin to study yoga asana and gene expression with regard to a specific gene, SRSF1 gene, in terms of aging reversal even?

While yoga positively impacts general gene expression and reduces inflammation, there are currently no studies linking specific asanas directly to the SRSF1 gene. To study this, researchers would use transcriptomic profiling to track whether physical practices can modulate RNA splicing factors. Because SRSF1 is a recently discovered genetic target for cellular rejuvenation, connecting everyday lifestyle habits to its specific activation remains an uncharted scientific frontier.  





Are there any studies whatsoever of yoga asanas impact on specific genes and gene expression?


Yes, scientific studies have shown that yoga and mind-body interventions alter the expression of specific genes. Research using genomic profiling demonstrates that regular practice downregulates pro-inflammatory genes, such as NF-kB and TNF, while upregulating longevity- and repair-related genes, including SIRT-1, KLOTHO, AMPK, and the DNA-repair gene OGG1.

Also how best for WUaS to begin to code potentially for Pi Cryptocurrency for all 7.9 billion people on both wings of WUaS - https://minepi.com/?u=sgkmac - and re the Pi-WUaS partnering email, eg even potentially in the WUaS educational services stores, and eg if central banks in all 200 countries were to get Pi Cryptocurrency from the WUaS Corporation, and to reimburse WUaS for matriculated students in P, something on the order of $65,000 per student per year from the rich countries, for online free-to-students' WUaS degrees from home ? Peter (Norvig), Roland (Vogl), others?

Shuja (Keen) - WUaS is still exploring accreditation possibilities, and while One-League, which you mentioned, appears to have licensed with BPPE - Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education in California (which WUaS looked into in around 2012, and while exploring Accreditation with WASC Senior then, like Stanford and the UCs and other west coast and some international universities, I think), it didn't appear to be accredited when I last looked. Looking forward to talking further about this. An accredited World University and School would allow WUaS to seek reimbursement from all 50 US states departments of education, and all 200 countries ministries of education, and re the CC-4 licensed (1) share, 2) adapt, 3) but non-commercially) licensing attributions of MIT OCW in 7 languages. (WUaS has the green light to accredit with Middle States Commission on Higher Education MSCHE in the greater Philadelphia area, and is now looking to accredit possibly in Germany building in the Open edX Europe platform ... but is looking for other options ... partner with MIT itself  re MIT's NECHE accreditation)?
