philosophical maverick Richard Rorty, who—in the intervals between deconstructing traditional metaphysics and epistemology and introducing English-language readers to Heidegger, Habermas, and Derrida—insisted that liberalism was far from unsalvageable and that, if anything, there should be a united front between leftists and liberals.

Inyo National Forest test blog post with App on phone

(the blog post I had created, beginning it with the Blogger.com App ... first kept giving an error message, something like "THAT FIELD IS NOT ACCEPTABLE" ... and then the whole blog post disappeared, but which I quickly reconstructed, and here it is - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2022/04/nopah-range-again-41622-wuas-agenda-and.html - and was the 'field' referred too my actual-virtual Harbin Hot Springs' field site' ??? and was there a Google employee on the other end of this disappearance mid-stream of my blog post? Hmm... so this blog post is a test to see if I could learn further from Blogger.com about what caused my earlier blog post today to disappear)

Hi Ma from the UU CHURCH high in Berkeley:) Good afternoon out exploring, doing errands, for WUaS too! PO box renewal form for Canyon 94516 was in box for WUaS Corporation taxes too ... Wrote last year I am living in a 'safe house' on federal form ... This year form is due by 4/30/22 ... Maybe I'll know by then whether to forward mail to Massachusetts or not ... Could be coming into a house ... But Ed said there was no other dwelling there ... Abolition-ally (Unitarian, Quaker, Yogic, Methodist, Presbyterian, Episcopal, non-theist Friend), Love, Scott

Good morning, Ma! Pretty day here, but cool in the mid-40s. How are you and what are you up to? Just completed a next step in World Univ & Sch collaborating with Wikidata Wikimedia Deutschland - and Wikibase.cloud - kind of interesting to read their Privacy Policy and Terms of Use in terms of European Data Protection GDPR law even, and have added this as item 8 in the upcoming 4/16/22 Agenda for WUaS Monthly Business Meeting - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2022/04/astragalus-lentiginosus.html (if you might like to take a glance) 🙂 Hoping this finds you well and staying warm. Sending love, Scott

Turned some of this into today's blog post - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2022/04/nopah-range-again-41622-wuas-agenda-and.html - and more! 🙂 How are you doing? Love, Scott (I made a good smoothy which Lillian Thomas had Tweeted ... banana, spinach, almond milk, and peanut butter :)

Hi Ma, how is your day going?  And how are you? Made my way over to Orinda library, a very beautiful building with some nice sculpture in front ... Have picked up a book again which Ed gave me 'The Overstory' a novel by Richard Powers (a MacArthur foundation recipient) ... And am reading a section about Pittsburgh and a Chinese Professor there ... Poignant

... Great terse focused Prose with 8  or 9 key protagonists... And a focus too on old growth forests and related eco-activism (was involved in the Cathedral Forest Action Group nonviolent environmental group in Portland Oregon in the early 1980s ... in relation to the Quaker Meeting and Reed College... Long time ago:) nice to step into this Library and to begin to get to know its collection ... Hello Ed and my friend mother,

Thanks for letting me know there are no rentals 8n Canyon, Ed! Helpful for planning on either possibly a good, safe cleaning up Canyon and with Law and law enforcement and state of California and federal government law processes, or to head for Cuttyhunk or New England.

Just went into the Orinda public library, beautiful (see below), masked, and am wondering if I remain here and in 200 years if I will still be going there. Contra Costa county has resources! Logged into the computer to search for Verdi opera on CD having read about it in 'The Overstory' book, listened to by Winston Ma (originally from China, then to Pgh and Illinois). But as I left and went to the restroom and a man came in with Shorts and a black mask ... Was he a library staff person in curious Contra Costa county with its governmental processes, and with the district 7 California state senator's office just across the freeway? Is all of Contra Costa county and Northern California seeking to clean up too ... And not sure what such a change of culture protecting the innocent people involves (and re my call for abolition)?

Who knows ... But if I do come into possession of 670A Ridgecrest Rd Canyon, am aware my criminal mentally ill former landlord knows this Contra Costa county culture well, and may be entangled with many male perpetrators ... All of him are somewhat organized and think strategically too (even re the tragic profit of the illegal drug and sex industries internationally) ... How to make safe such a house and Canyon and culture ? ... Who knows?

But on to pick up the WUAS mail in the federal Canyon USPS PO box :)

How are you doing? I could well be in a van driving to the east coast to a cleaning up Cuttyhunk in the pond on a boat I'm a few weeks ... And thanks to federal legal processes (and whistle blowing about ethical wrong doing and law breaking I'm BOTH places v...) ...glad to hear John Sargent MD's thinking about how to know if Canyon (or Cuttyhunk by extension have become safe or Cuttyhunk GOOD again)? :)

Fondly, Scott

Visiting Rodeo Lagoon SF Bay Area ... VIGNETTES .. Kinda a middle class SF Bay Area Sunday afternoon, with many 20-something year olds

Ma, John Henry Ed Joan Barbara all,

Hi from Rodeo Lagoon SF Bay Area! Happy day light savings' New Light time.  .

Made a dash 3 times to evade the waves coming in as I walked along the beach's surf line at the end of a 3.5 miles' walk first north up into the hills and then south around the whole lagoon. I think the tide was coming in.

As I got to the end of the beach there were about 7 surfers still in the water, none standing on their boards, waiting for the next wave at 7:10 pm Pacific time, still winter on March 13th. One surfer got out and walked up to the parking area put his board by his vehicle, and went over to hang out with his friends, most with longish hair, about 8 guys. Camaraderie ...

As I walked further I saw a plump smart raven near the recycling and food supply occasionally cawing. I said hi. It didn't caw back ... don't know how to elicit a caw from a crow.

A woman walked by on a quite cool evening wearing very short white shorts and no jacket  ... Was she showing her legs? ... Could she even be a park service officer?

My car parked next to the hills, above the other cars, but with drive space above me and other highest cars, ...  a car drove by with a very colorfully dressed clown??? in it driving ... a trans person out to drive through Rodeo Lagoon, past the surfer guys ... ? Gaudy!

On the beach, earlier, I saw a bleach blond-haired woman with her partner, early to mid-20s, and a woman friend, jump on him frontwards to hug in happiness and in warm embrace as he responded and turned them 365 degrees around hugging her back. Was friend photographing them?

Other families with kids on the beach, with very diverse backgrounds ...

Kinda a middle class SF Bay Area Sunday afternoon, with many 20-something year olds.

Hike was nice if solo up through the hills overlooking the Pacific ocean ...

Tweeted this when I first parked, from a traveling scholar's perspective -

So here at Rodeo Lagoon SF Bay w its youth hostel, interesting old buildings, even a visitor center, - internet was off coming in, but back on now - how to access world class online libraries, even from ~200 countries' National Libraries & be able to do world class research NOW?

Hi Ma, John, Henry, Ed, Larry, All,

Took this thread to the blog space ... https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2022/03/chimonanthus-praecox.html ... & can anyone help getting a Harbin Pubs' archive digitized, for machine learning databases, and access from anywhere with internet access ... but not necessarily regarding this #RealisticVirtualHarbin #HashTag ... https://twitter.com/hashtag/RealisticVirtualHarbin?src=hashtag_click ... but perhaps here in Google Street View, 'landing' at the Harbin Gate House ~ http://tinyurl.com/p62rpcg (~ https://twitter.com/HarbinBook ~ http://bit.ly/HarbinBook ~) ... and then 'ambling' down the Harbin road '~4 miles' to Middletown CA Harbin Pubs' office ... (and whipping out your smartphone, if there PHYSICALLY, that is ... and photographing a ton of Harbin Pubs, and thus further digitizing them ... easy peasy, easy as pie) ... OR READING THESE PUBLICATIONS IF ONLINE AND INTERESTED IN HARBIN'S CULTURE OF YORE ... and with Google Street View with time slider, that is :)

(Received too a message from Stanford Mine Pi yesterday - and see below - that leads me to wonder about thinking in terms of Pi ... infinite abundance-wise ... and see too -
https://twitter.com/MITAthletics/status/1503349979301171206?s=20&t=eQQJf-RKsnH2gQcl1kO-uA) What are information technologies making possible? Virtual Harbin and infinite Pi coin resources, and possibly re immortality too ... re Harvard and MIT professor of Genetics' George Church's video here - https://youtu.be/mztOFAQf8uY (around the 8 minutes' mark) - all highly improbable :)?

In addition to the waves of Rodeo Lagoon, who's getting free money these days, that is mining Pi - https://minepi.com/sgkmac - as this develops in the direction of Pi infinity (the mathematics of Pi get pretty interesting, I'd think:)

Cheers,
Scott

Dear Larry, Universitians, and All,

Greetings and how are you? Happy daylight savings' 'new light.'

a new development with Stanford Mine Pi, which I mine daily (https://minepi.com/sgkmac) ... with about 3322 Pi coin accumulated so far and increasing second by second ... and new information about possibly actually using Pi on the Mainnet blockchain ... and regarding boosting the mining rate, and locking this in or up ... (and also regarding possibly WUaS Corp ending poverty by distributing a single cryptocurrency to most of all 7.9 billion people and in 200 countries, 7139 living languages ... ) and via UBI experiments ...

Here's the message about this from when I was mining today ...

Configure Lockup Settings

Lock up a portion of your Transferable balance to Mainnet to boost your mining rate. On March 14, 2022, lockup boosts go into effect with your commitment. Lockup settings will become binding upon commitment (meaning lockups cannot be lowered before your first Mainnet transfer). Learn more

2. Lockup duration

BOOST RATE: × 200%
Resulting mining rate boost:

You have completed 461 mining sessions so far.
Lockup duration countdowns will begin upon balance transfer to Mainnet. Your previous lockups will affect your overall lockup reward. The lockup design and formula are subject to small changes.
Lockup status: Not committed yet. Commit now to boost your mining rate effective March 14, 2022.

Hmmm (I copied and pasted this screen from my smartphone)

Pi is a little unclear regarding various significances ...

And this is the second time I've received this invitation from Pi to 'lock up' the Pi Mining rate ...

Thoughts, questions, ideas, suggestions ... and regarding WUaS Corporation ... and potentially listing Pi this on the Silicon Valley long-term stock exchange?

Sincerely, Scott
