Explore ASA's (American Student Assistance) 2024 Annual Report

Chair, ASA Board of Directors
Dear Jean and Larry,
Thanks for sending me the American Student Assistance ASA 2024 Annual Report -
https://www.asa.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/ASA_Annual-Report_2024.pdf - at MIT OCW-centric wiki World University and School WUaS, planning in each of all ~200 countries (per the Olympics), and in their main languages, online free-to-students' MIT OCW-centric #GrowWithGoogleWUaS World University and School degrees. These planned free WUaS degrees include Bachelor, PhD, Law, MD, IB high school/similar, AA/AS and Master's degrees where students would study and learn from homes. World University and School WUaS is also planning Physical-Digital WUaS Educational Services' Stores (thinking Walmart employing ~2.3 million people in 19 / 200 countries, I've read, where WUaS seeks to hire and employ 2.5 million people on both of our WUaS wings, in all 200 countries over the next 50-100 years) in each of all ~200 countries (per the Olympics) and in all 7,159 known living languages, per Ethnologue (if helpful) and with AI and ML ... and potentially in a realistic virtual earth (thinking Google Street View with time slider, GMaps GEarth with TensorFlowAI ... and Second Life, the 3D group building virtual world, on which I've taught a Society and "Information Technology" course for years on Harvard's virtual island therein).
The latter 2nd wing, the WUaS Educational Services' Stores could offer huge opportunities for careers for possible ASA students ... as could the first wing MIT OCW-centric wiki World University and School WUaS with its online focus (and see the beginning webpages for both wings below, with their tax ID numbers at bottom as well, to get an idea of how World Univ & Sch WUaS is organized further).
As a wiki, please see to this WUaS wiki subject / school (not yet in any of the other 200 countries' languages) for open wiki-teaching and wiki-learning with regard to ASA's focus -
Finding_/_creating_a_job_you_really_love -
(from -
https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Subjects ... and in the academic wiki subjects/ schools please see the MIT OCW courses, which will eventually be for credit toward free online degrees). (How could we turn the "What Color Is Your Parachute" idea - on the above wiki-school - into an AI and ML Large Language Model I wonder?)
How might we best communicate further about all of this and ASA?
Best wishes,
Scott

Every day at American Student Assistance® (ASA), we work to ensure that young people don’t have to wait for their future—they can start shaping it today. In 2024, we expanded access to career-readiness learning tools and experiences, making it easier for students to explore, experiment, and take meaningful action toward their futures.
This year, our impact reached over 15 million students—including more in historically underserved communities than ever before. We invested in and partnered with innovators providing career-focused education and workforce development solutions. And, we laid the groundwork to build a new solution that will help young people better navigate quality education and career paths after high school.
We also continued our commitment to foster systemic change. Through impact investing and philanthropy, we fueled innovation and expanded access to resources that prepare students for a rapidly evolving world. Our thought leadership and advocacy efforts helped shape public discourse, influencing policymakers, educators, and industry leaders to prioritize career-connected learning, as well as access to, and acceptance of, non-degree paths.
I invite you to explore our 2024 Annual Report to see how ASA and our partners are making a difference—and how we plan to build on this momentum in the years ahead. Together, we can ensure every student has the opportunity and access to find their own tomorrow, today. |

Upper Lake public library - W 3/12/25 - nice to meet you, and thanks, ((Emily (Dunn) - (in Lake County, California, not that far from Harbin Hot Springs)) . . . (especially re the 1960s and 1970s, a focus of mine), and re my physical-digital Harbin Hot Springs' ethnography and ethnographic book projects ahead, and Lake County native American languages.
Dear Lake County librarians' Emily (Dunn), and Christopher Veach,
Very nice to meet you, and thanks for the books and information about Lake County history (especially re the 1960s and 1970s, a focus of mine), and re my physical-digital Harbin Hot Springs' ethnography and ethnographic book projects ahead.
Thanks also for the information about Lake County native American languages.
Regarding #GrowWithGoogleWUaS free World University and School planning free online degrees from home for students - Bachelor, PhD, Law, MD, IB high school / similar, AA/AS and Master's degrees - as WUaS accredits :
Lake County librarian Christopher Veach, with time, WUaS would be interested in native American languages' resources in Lake county, and especially even as we develop with machine learning and AI ... eg for creating data sets of these languages' phonemes etc ... and in building wiki-teaching and wiki-learning online communities in these languages. Please stay tuned (since WUaS has to develop further in these regards, before growing in specific languages).
Thanks, and looking forward to further communication with time,
Scott
