Played through the Scottish Country Dance tunes last night on my small pipes (but not keyboard) for this evening. Most of the tunes aren't ever scored for Scottish small pipes, which creates wee challenges. But if I were to begin piano lessons with Patti in January, if monies begin to flow, then I could focus on this too, in addition to the other things I've mentioned as focuses in lessons with her (and blogged about - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2018/09/the-wadden-sea-netherlands-lights.html).

Not sure about CaliFORNIa and culture here. My hunch is that ... has been through a bunch of (negative?) west coast stuff since before heading to college on the east coast around '97, so seems unlikely  ... as George observed, no one is perfect (and I think negative sexual stuff complicates lives, so I'm glad psychotherapy in California exists) ... and I can be a bit of an idealist. (Fornix's etymology is from "arched" and California's etymology is here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Etymology_of_California). So circulating in seeking a partner to begin a family ... Back to California and its ethos ... and re Harbin too ... and re theorizing online Lacanian psychoanalysis re WUaS ... and for adolescents ... and my hypothetical kids going through psychoanalysis (since I think all of the Alexanders benefitted from this, and George's thinking, and all of his kids went through psychotherapy as teens I think) ... But post 1960s and '70s in both California and on the east coast and in Europe and Asia / Africa / the Middle East ... are interesting questions here ... and the state of California regulates psychotherapy too ... So what kind of unfolding issues are emerging in California law re Harbin ahead, I wonder ? (In another blog post I shared with you too, Joanne Wenzel talked in video about regulating massage in CA - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2018/06/canada-lynx-wuas-wiki-subject-pages-can.html - and I suppose Harbin workshops, and possibly 'swinging' there too, as well as LBGTQ stuff, could be 'regulated' in similar ways).
