Dear Colleen,
(I just posted the following to - https://colleen-morgan.com/2017/12/13/archaeology-graduate-degrees-usa-vs-uk/ - but now it's gone),

Am finding your post germane for licensing World University and School with California's Bureau of Private Postsecondary Education, in preparation for WUaS accreditation probably with WASC senior, Colleen. Thank you! (Also I wasn't able to find you @clmorgan - https://twitter.com/clmorgan?lang=en - on Twitter today: "Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!" Have you left your personal Twitter feed behind?)

Cheers, Scott (https://twitter.com/WorldUnivAndSch & https://twitter.com/scottmacleod)

Having searched on Colleen Morgan in Twitter @clmorgan - and found her personal Twitter no longer exists, I found this recent Tweet with her name in it -

https://twitter.com/UoYArchaeology/status/1108716810591977474 ... Am wondering if she's moving on to Tweet at the Univ of York in other ways.

Am also curious how Colleen even could help develop a new virtual archaeology Ph.D. degree - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Archaeology - at WUaS as Google Street View with TIME SLIDER / Maps / Earth for archaeology (and for everything) develops. Archaeology at the cellular and atomic levels too could be a great way to develop Google Street View with TIME SLIDER for millions of years. Take a photo / video of a site, and upload it into a realistic virtual earth?

But it might make much institutional sense, and re growing large number of careers, to develop in collaboration with Stanford itself, since it seems to have a large archaeology department, and also collaborates with Google a fair amount ... (Archaeology can be seen as 1 of 4 fields of anthropology).

Such a degree would be fairly information technology focuses ... and could be easily connected with field sites ...

Dear Larry,

I also found this from Colleen Morgan, UK archaeologist, York Univ. Professor, and Berkeley Ph.D., and who focuses in part on digital archaeology - https://colleen-morgan.com/2017/12/13/archaeology-graduate-degrees-usa-vs-uk/. It seems like a good basis for initial Ph.D. application process re WUaS & BPPE licensing. What do you think?

And re-sending this in the body of an email (instead of from within the newly created GDoc with BPPE draft):

Dear Larry, Here's a working draft - https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IMqiHn0x6WsASDepW3GHYqfWA7gPl2y9uu1BU6Yiqa0/edit?usp=sharing - of the CA BPPE licensing application for your consideration, as I seek to make further headway on this. I think you know workable language for such processes. I annotated the lengthy workbook they gave us as well.

Sincerely, Scott

Hey Scot, Koh and Ants,

Just saw this Richard Dawkins' Tweet about Univ of Cambridge taking back invitation to Jordan Peterson to speak:
My Letter to the Editor, in today’s (London) Times. https://t.co/YnZ3lbdUNO

... to circle back to the question you asked a year ago, Scot ... Don't know the full context.

But he's still not my rock star ...

How are all of you? And how's baby Midori, now getting bigger?

Hoping you're enjoying the spring weather and the spring itself.

Realistic virtual Harbin / earth building still developing as ethnographic field site, and World Univ & Sch classrooms & STEM field sites for http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/search/label/ethno-wiki-virtual-world-graphy?m=0 ...

Friendly cheers, Scott

Hi M,

Will look for further Miranda's "Hamilton the musical" resources as well ...

Glad you'll connect with Sandy especially in seeing Hamilton and re = https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2019/03/saussurea-obvallata-wiki-medicine-wiki.html ! He's a child of the '60s like I am ... and we both are a bit hippy too (he had much longer hair than I did :)... and while "Hamilton the musical" expresses a kind of American 1776 revolutionary spirit musically, and re its historiography, it does so by focusing on many of the revolution-informed freedom-seeking issues and thinking of the student and youth movements of the 1960s & '70s ... so, in 2015 & 2019  it re-generates a kind of American freedom-thinking and social justice trajectory in new ways for this decade - and creatively ... As the oldest continuous constitution continues to inform our US legal system ... kinda cool ... potentially in the way it touches us personally and feeling-wise ... and without the violence in the air around some revolutions against unjust systems or unjust governments (re nation states too) ...

(Just got a book from the Stanford bookstore yesterday: "Introduction to German Poetry: A Dual-Language Book (& Side-By-Side Reading Comparison)" Dover 1959. I'm guessing my friend Silke Stuerke who I think still works there got this ... 39 poems in German and English ... interesting ... and re my two recent published books of poetry ... https://amazon.com/author/scottmacleodworlduniversity ...  The roles of men and women in Germany are deeply rooted and fairly settled and harmonious in my experience ... In the US things are still a little bit in flux to say the least re these roles ... The WUaS Press seeks to publish books in all 7,111 living languages with machine translation ... including poetry (and STEM) ...

Heading to Stanford later for a talk at 4:30 - https://events.stanford.edu/events/832/83247/ - then music on The Knoll at 7:30 - https://events.stanford.edu/events/829/82907/ .

Seeking too to get a draft of the CA BPPE licensing application draft into Google Docs soom so Larry can engage it too ...

Would like to get a second (radical) actual-virtual Harbin ethnographic book written, and with re-conceiving the book even - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2018/12/leaf-re-conceiving-book-printable-on.html - before exploring moving back to Pgh in some years or so (and also write a Stanford - MIT STEM ethos comparison book since the '60s before this) ... May head up to Harbin again in a year or 2 after they get some trees and buildings up and going as well ... missing that trip ...

Have a great birthday trip to "Hamilton!" Happy birthday!

L, Scott

Saussurea obvallata: [Wiki-Medicine] Wiki Project Med in Tunisia * * * Looks like the new 2018 Lego Powered Up trains can work with Lego robotics like WeDo2 and thus with Scratch 3.0 drag and drop programming language, Robotics and Scratch from home, and in a realistic virtual earth - am thinking BRICK STREET VIEW in Google Street View * * * The idea of community isn't so much in the air as it was in the early '80s (when people were still talking about beginning hippy communes, and going back to the land' * * * Hamilton the musical is indeed revolutionary in an American way... as World Univ & Sch is quite radical too
