Great ... edX in Spanish for free. ... Spanish and Chinese in addition to English are WUaS's pilot languages for free CC OCW university and high school degrees, accrediting on CC MIT OCW in its 7 languages (https://ocw.mit.edu/courses/translated-courses) and CC Yale OYC ... could WUaS open edX up further by adding CC Yale OYC and CC MIT OCW to edX (and ask students' countries and govts to donate some portion of what it costs to go to YALE or MIT for free accrediting degrees to WUaS?

A fan of Steeleye Span from the early 70s especially (and folk rock too - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Folk_rock_music) - here's "Ten Man Mop or Mr Reservoir Butler Rides Again" (great name for an album:)) from them from 1971 ... https://open.spotify.com/album/5rXXUQOu5zelG0Rb4Va7pR or https://play.spotify.com/album/56fS1iUenSQIITEmBwm5kp (which I hadn't heard of before) and on the good Spotify radio channel maker ... 

I'd like to explore creating recordings (with you all, and online?) coming into conversation with such, perhaps emerging out of our music playing spaces. Are any of you Steeleye Span fans? (I don't recall that they play with pipes very much).

I'm attaching Amazing Grace in 5 parts ... might be fun to explore playing together in terms of singing, as well as singing harmony lines while playing Scottish smallpipes, as well as exploring in terms of musicality ...

Which versions of Amazing Grace make people cry with happiness and why (and how)? :) The relative slowness of Amazing Grace (and its beauty) may allow us to explore how make music online together in real time with Alan in New Zealand (over Android smartphones which synch with Google Hangouts .... still wouldn't resolve Alan's distance)! The Intensive Studies' program at Stanford looks interesting - https://summer.stanford.edu/academics/intensive-studies/ . 

Yes, meeting sounds good to talk about comparative education techniques. CC WUaS in exchange for free CC MIT University degrees (Bachelor, Ph.D., law and MD, as well as I.B. high school diplomas) would like to rigorously study such education techniques and approaches inter-lingually and with a long term horizon with highest achieving students as our focus of study. 

For accreditation purposes, WUaS plans to accredit with WASC senior, which accredits Stanford, Berkeley and the University of Californias, and be incubated by the Univ of California, and will seek to hire graduate student instructors (from highest achieving universities around the world - e.g. MIT, Harvard, Stanford etc., in the U.S. - who are learning to become professors) to teach to the CC MIT OCW faculty in video in 7 languages - http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/translated-courses/- and the CC Yale OYC faculty in video using the conference method - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Conference_Method_of_Teaching_and_Learning . Graduate student instructors are a technique that accrediting agencies approve of / sanction. And Quakers are a good network, because WUaS is Quaker-informed.
