Greetings from Padanaram and Dartmouth, MA, and I hope this finds you well. I called the Cuttyhunk ferry this morning about 1 of 5 missing banana boxes, as I came off island yesterday afternoon, having gone over to Cuttyhunk yesterday morning (sad that Cuttyhunk has developed like this, e.g. that as an owner of the Cuttyhunk MacLeod house, I can't go over and just stay in it, and to write my 6th book "Society, Information Technology, and The Global University") and found out from Sue at the Cuttyhunk ferry, that the 5th banana box will be coming back to New Bedford this afternoon (i.e. and with all its possible perishables).

Just sent this inquiry to Attorney Jim Hodgson, in New Bedford MA, and Charles Nesson, in Cambridge MA, - and regarding the MacLeod Cuttyhunk house and the law -

Attorney Hodgson, I'm writing having just returned from Cuttyhunk island where my family has had a house (since 1987), renting it before this since the late 1960s, and where I've been going since around 1966. As an owner among 3 family members, and having gotten, a few weeks ago, the keys to the MacLeod Cuttyhunk house for the first time since my father Gordon K MacLeod received a subdural hematoma on Semester at Sea on December 30, 2004, and since we got the house in 1987, my brother, Sandy MacLeod, seems to have come from Portland, Maine, and just changed the locks. So I went out to Cuttyhunk on the Cuttyhunk ferry this morning, with the new keys I just received a few weeks ago, to the house in my pocket, and all the locks had been changed (we have had a set of keys outdoors for many decades). One issue here is I think that my brother may be the caretaker of the house, and I with recent keys am more officially an owner than before without the keys, and my brother may have legal obligations as the official caretaker to get me the new keys after he changes the lock. I called him from Cuttyhunk this afternoon to ask if he could provide me the keys, and left a message, also reiterating that I think he is trying to steal the whole MacLeod Cuttyhunk house, and potentially from my mother Jane MacLeod (in the Pittsburgh area) as well.  

Would it be possible please to confer with you about this issue, and possibly even with legal means to get Sandy MacLeod to get me the possible spare set of keys he may have left on Cuttyhunk with his friend / neighbor Russell Wright (and who could be the 2nd caretaker of our MacLeod Cuttyhunk house, when Sandy isn't on the island) - as soon as this weekend or Monday, so I could take the ferry to Cuttyhunk on Monday (for another ~$77 dollars each way, like today, and the ferry is running now only on Monday and Friday and the weekend)? I'd like to live there for the next ~2.5 weeks if possible. 

Would it be possible please too in conferring with you to hammer out MacLeod Cuttyhunk house ownership, scheduling and usage with my brother and my mother - and regarding my brother's seeming to be trying to steal the house?

"Hi Ma, from New Bedford ... Just met Unitarian's Tim House and Ann Gary at 4 corners on Cuttyhunk earlier ... Nice to see them! And just passed by the Unitarian Universalist Church of New Bedford ... Am here in New Bedford looking for a possible lawyer and regarding Sandy's possible stealing of the Cuttyhunk house from me, and potentially you too. Found a lawyer John P Mathieu at 8th and Elm Street ... and regarding my being an owner, and sandy as caretaker not providing me the new keys, after I got the old keys a few weeks ago - a further key aspect of ownership - and decades after Dad got his subdural hematoma on Dec 30, 2004, and passed away in Nov of 2007. May head to VT or NH today ... to a wilderness area, and possibly find a Motel along the way ... Continuing - 

So, what might be the best way to get a set of new keys to the MacLeod Cuttyhunk house, possible when (illegal?) renters have vacated the MacLeod Cuttyhunk house (over the weekend?). 

Also, amazingly found 2 nice public showers and 2 restrooms at the Padanaram bridge, next to the Harbor Master's office ... and the rest rooms are open, and one can get the key, leaving an ID, from the Bridge Tender (person, whom I just talked with at some length) or the Harbor Master, who wasn't in their somewhat closed-looking office. So now it seems as if I can camp out (with no signs) near the Knowles trail in a beautiful spot on 2 salt water lagoons near Dartmouth MA, and the Smith Neck Friends' unprogrammed Quaker  Meeting too, and even get a shower in the morning. 

Thoughts about how to get a new set of keys to the MacLeod Cuttyhunk house, as I seek to confer with Attorney Jim Hodgson in NB, (and possibly Charles Nesson by extension), possibly on Monday morning?
