Thanks so much for this Yoga Philosophy Discussion Group out of Chico opportunity (and via Zoom too), which I found here - https://www.yogacenterofchico.com/event-calendar/2024/9/28/yoga-philosophy-discussion-group.Greetings from San Francisco, and the SF East Bay where I've taught Yoga in Canyon 94516, having lived there for some 13 years, before seeking asylum on the eastern seaboard as a whistleblower about potential criminality there, and in the sf quaker meeting +). And thanks again, Tom, decades ago, after I completed the 2 year Yoga certificate course at IYI Sf for helping me get an opportunity to teach Yoga in the Yoga Studio (where Evalaleah Howard was the proprietor) on Divisadero in the mid 1990s around 1993. And thanks too so much for helping me get a beautifully hand-crafted Plow-Pose restorative Yoga asana bench around this time (and did you make this yourself?). I continue to do Yoga asana and meditation daily first thing upon rising and in very salutary ways. 

I'm writing to inquire if it would be possible to join this  Yoga Philosophy Discussion Group out of Chico opportunity in Zoom, and letting friends, and contacts know about this as well (some of whom learned directly from Iyengar for decades). A bit in conversation with Angela and Victor's Yoga, as well as Patanjali's Sutras, out of Iyengar Yoga too, I've written this Hippy Anjali Yoga Notations - http://www.scottmacleod.com/yoganotations.html . Am also interested Yoga-wise in emerging Yoga-genetic therapies for aging reversal and extreme longevity, and also "#YogaGenetics? For performance - higher faster stronger athletics - & #ETHICS? Am also at MIT OCW-centric wiki World University and School WUaS, with its Yoga wiki subject or school, in English so far only (and see below), growing a worldwide abolition movement to abolish the wrongful buying and selling of people in the illegal sex, drugs, violence etc industries internationally, and their latent networks of violence ... and in Yoga circles especially  ... and re protecting people, women, kids, others ... and wonder how the California is doing with regard to protecting particularly youth in Yoga cricels, and possibly regarding even -

Received some well-formed and well-conceived text attachments from the Yoga Philosophy Discussion Group out of Chico, CA  and in my yogamacflower@gmail.com email address being added to the Yoga Philosophy Discussion Group email list, ... and was interested to see that the 2/27/25 Yoga Philosophy Discussion Group was about bliss (an experience, 'neural cascades of pleasure'? which Yoga philosophy has a rich vocabulary for, but which language could be significantly expanded and developed in English, for example, and "From the Inside" which words are in the titles of many of Yogi artist (above) Victor Van Kooten's Yoga books). I replied to Tom and Lauren in some of these regards -

How are you? How is your Yoga teaching going? 

Will do. Please let me know if I miss anything. 

(Janet, I think I continue to be a lifetime member of the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco, per the ~$400 I gave to the IYI SF on Taraval Street back in around 1992 for this, although the IYI SF doesn't seem to have a physical place in San Francisco ... n'est-ce pas?)
