for these email restorative Yoga explorations' on Saturday October 31, 2026 (and as we may live to 150 and well beyond:)  ... around 8 am Your Time  ... and happy halloween!

Some Yoga meditations here from us to explore in inner releasing, softening and opening action ways, and with our breath:

A
Sitting in Siddhasana on a blanket or a little height, or on a chair, come into Yoga sitting meditation with your head rising up (like a helium balloon), and let your spine lengthen up as you root down through your buttocks, and begin to explore inner releasing actions with your breathing.

B
Pranayama or breathing exploration ~ releasing open your inner nostril skin, your body away from the touch of your inhale, leaving open your nostrils, your inner throat / windpipe inner body as you exhale ...

(This can be most wondrous, regarding the releasing and opening meditatively in Yoga connecting, - explore in this light?) ... read first and then explore riffing with what touches you?:

As you receive your breath in through your nostrils, can you release your nostril skin away from the touch of your breath, all the breath to flow more freely through your, and softening the opening channels away from the contact of your breath with each inhale ? Explore this progressive opening with the touch of your breath in your nostrils for a few breaths letting this release to the touch of your breath expand - to release your facial muscles too. Can you release the cavities within your sinuses? As your breath flows in through your nose, can you release further the back of the top of your throat away from the touch of your inhale, exploring further for a few breaths? As your breath flows down through your windpipe, here too can you release your windpipe skin open around the inhale and leave it capacious on the exhale of your breath to create more space for the air to flow, and while releasing your inner neck as well. And as your breath begins to enter into your inner upper chest balloon, can you release your inner back body inside in front of your shoulder blades and ribs away from the touch of your breath's movement, and on your inhale also release your inner front chest behind the collar bones open, like a spinnaker sail even, and release your inner sternum away from the opening of the inner chest balloon as well. Each time you exhale, can you leave open your inner chest balloon, as your breath leaves your inner body? Like a wave moving down with your inhale - e.g. in a lava lamp - can you allow your breath's movement to come into your inner belly balloon, and even open into the inner floor of your pelvis?

Explore this allowing the breath to soften and deepen gradually, and with releasing focus, it can become a kind of flow experience with absorbed easing mind, consciously guiding with your breath this opening and softening of your inner body, beginning with your breath touching your nostril skin and releasing away from this to explore opening and free flowing of the breath.

C
Yoga Mudrasana (Psychic Union Pose or Seal of Yoga) if sitting in Siddhasana or Ardha Padmasana
or if sitting on a Chair: Forward Bend lengthen your torso long along your thighs, and releasing

Can you bring your breath in through your softening opening nostril channels, in through your windpipe, in through your upper chest balloon and into your belly balloon? With your breath flowing gradually into your inner belly balloon, can you allow that to open and unfold your inner belly, helping to kip your sits bones back and freeing your spine long and forward, and lengthening it deeper into this sealing pose or seated forward bend?

D
Coming onto your back, in savasana, with a height under your head, and your arms symmetrically out to the sides of you, palms facing up, can you release into this resting pose deeply and with each exhale letting the skin of your back body deepen its contact with the floor below you? Can you release your inner thigh bones, allowing the marrow of them to drop down, and can you release the little spaces inside your thigh bones to open releasing your inner thighs? Similarly, can you release your inner forearms and upper arms onto the floor ... freeing the inner arms to release down toward the floor? Can you then bring your breath in through your opening nostril skin further, in through your releasing inner windpipe, into your inner upper chest balloon, and allow this inner upper chest balloon to open in the tops of your humeri, the heads of your upper arm bones, creating space there, and releasing the spaces between all the little cells that connect your inner upper chest balloon to your upper arms there too?

And then allow your inner body to release freely into its own freedom, opening down into the support of the earth below you?

(and as we may live to 150 and well beyond:)?

... I was appreciative of your George (Church) saying to me at Harvard Aging Research and Drug Development meeting in Boston that we might have longevity genetic drug therapies by 2036 even (FDA approved potentially I think), and well before the 2050 year date you I think mention in a video interview (quoting someone else I think you told me) ... and which would allow us to do further restorative Yoga explorations, and potentially for many of us above >

I asked Google AI this:

What might longevity genetic drug therapies by 2036 even (FDA approved potentially I think) be - a vaccine, or a pill or medicine, and per Dr. George Church?

https://share.google/aimode/CDKedUcrydFJ5PmXi

According to Harvard geneticist Dr. George Church, longevity genetic therapies by 2036 will not be a daily pill, nor a traditional vaccine—they will be "one-and-done" (or "once-a-decade") gene therapy injections. [1, 2]
The delivery mechanisms, the scientific approach, and how FDA approval will likely look for these therapies involve several key factors:
1. The Delivery Method: Injections, Not Pills
  • Why it's not a pill: Traditional medicines (small-molecule pills) require you to remember to take them daily, and they have brief half-lives. True genetic longevity therapies require changing how your cells produce specific proteins. [1, 2, 3]
  • The actual method: They will be administered as intravenous or intramuscular injections. They use a viral vector (like an Adeno-Associated Virus, or AAV) to carry code into a small percentage of your cells (typically targeting the liver). [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
  • The "Two-Tiered" Trick: Dr. Church’s strategy avoids needing to edit every cell in your body. Instead, the injection instructs a specific organ (like the liver) to manufacture and secrete youthful, longevity-associated hormones directly into your bloodstream. Your blood then distributes these proteins systemically to rejuvenate the whole body. [1, 2]
2. Is it like a "Vaccine"?
  • Logistically, yes: Dr. Church frequently draws parallels to the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines to show that we already know how to manufacture and distribute genetic medicine safely and at massive scale. You would go to a clinic, receive a shot, and be "dosed for life" (or at least for a decade). [1, 2, 3]
  • Biologically, no: A traditional vaccine trains your immune system to fight an outside invader. Longevity gene therapy alters internal cell behavior—either by adding protective genes that we lose as we age, or by using "Yamanaka factors" to gently reprogram old cells back to a younger state. [1, 2, 3]
3. What Genes Are Being Targeted?
Through his spin-out company, Rejuvenate Bio, Church's lab has successfully reversed multiple age-related diseases in animals simultaneously by injecting a "cocktail" of three primary genes: [1, 2, 3]
  1. FGF21: A hormone that regulates metabolism, protects against obesity, and improves blood sugar. [1]
  2. sTGFβR2: A receptor protein that stops tissue scarring, reversing kidney and heart strain. [1, 2]
  3. α-Klotho: A crucial longevity protein associated with protecting cognitive function and reducing cellular stress. [1]
4. The 2036 FDA Approval Strategy
You are correct to eye 2036 for potential human availability. Because the FDA does not recognize "aging" as a disease, companies cannot get a drug approved simply for "longevity". [1]
To bypass this regulatory hurdle, Dr. Church's pipeline follows a very specific path: [1]
  • Veterinary Trials First: Rejuvenate Bio is currently testing these exact gene therapies in dogs (specifically Cavalier King Charles Spaniels) to treat mitral valve disease (heart failure). [1, 2]
  • Curing Specific Diseases to Treat Aging: The strategy for human FDA approval is to test the therapies as treatments for acute, severe conditions like heart failure, type 2 diabetes, or kidney disease. Once approved to treat heart failure, doctors would legally be able to prescribe it—meaning humanity gets a broad anti-aging, life-extending therapy through the regulatory doorway of standard disease management. [1, 2, 3]
If you are curious about the timelines, I can provide more details on how the dog trials are progressing or explain how epigenetic reprogramming works to reverse a cell's age. What would you like to explore next?
