Begin with the remarkable video resources already on YouTube and in other video archives, and convert them into a realistic virtual earth with avatar bots (and that's printable), and eventually explore avatar bot language and agency?

In this very interesting presentation, we saw a panstereorama (a model of a town or country, in relief)  of Chicago, printed in 3D (by the Chicago Architecture Foundation).

Presumably there was a computer simulation informing this panstereorama, and I asked in this great talk at Stanford about A) where the Actual - Virtual, Physical - Digital might fit into Patrick Ellis' thinking re the emergence of these models. For me there's a kind of co-constituting conversation between in the information technology revolution between these that's been very generative.

And B) I asked where movement came into panstereorama, perhaps beginning with model trains ... but especially moving into robotics.

And Patrick responded that this gets into a Borges' way of seeing things :).

The time slider feature of Google Street View would enable a lot of 3D printing of various Chicagos through history, and even as kinds of libraries almost.

Hi Simone,

Very nice to meet and talk with you at the TSWG at UC Berkeley at "Intercultural Communication in Tourism: Encounters, Exchanges, and Imaginaries" - http://campaign.r20.constantcontact.com/render?m=1103050552852&ca=9936f06b-b4f1-4477-b43a-e5f22b8b45c0 .

It looks like English Club meets on Saturdays at 11 am Pacific Time currently in Google group video Hangouts accessible through - https://mewe.com/group/5be85b4cbc86c90ab7936e35 - and I just sent you an email from this group in MeWe as well (and see below).

More about my actual-virtual Harbin book project here ~ http://tinyurl.com/p62rpcg ~ https://twitter.com/HarbinBook ~ http://bit.ly/HarbinBook  ~

And more about ethno-wiki-virtual-world-graphy here - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/search/label/ethno-wiki-virtual-world-graphy.

Are you on Twitter by any chance?

Hi EnglishKlub, Am seeking partly to share this English-learning opportunity with a Lao native-speaking Tourism Studies' friend I met at UC Berkeley who wants to improve her English (which is already pretty good) ... and re World University and School's planned 7,111 living languages - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Languages - planned also in Google group video Hangouts
