But 'virtual Scotland' in music as 'virtual my home' is neither here nor there :) ... Yet building perhaps a virtual Scotland World University & School ...
Hi Ma, Sandy, All,
Warm greetings from Cuttyhunk. How are you? And how is your summer going? Lovely here on this rocky green land in the ocean, which is kind of 'my home' ... Listening to the beautiful singing voice of Jean Redpath on her "Leaving the Land" album ... here's the lead song ....
Do you know it?
And here's Stuart Liddell playing the rune tune 'My Home'
- https://youtu.be/ZuvMePr82y8 Did you ever play this beautiful air on the practice chanter, or sing it?
But 'virtual Scotland' in music as 'virtual my home' is neither here nor there :) ... Yet building perhaps a virtual Scotland World University & School - in the building process - could be ... https://wiki. worlduniversityandschool.org/ wiki/Scotland ... And 'have a wee teach' :) by adding something you find creatively instructive (https://wiki. worlduniversityandschool.org/ wiki/Subjects)
Along with all the other WUaS universities, wiki schools, and realistic virtual Earth and Harbin and Scotland too ... ...making them 'real,' and virtually, and SOCIAL - is an engaging and creative process ...
Just looked again at virtual Harbin Hot Springs in Street View to see what developments have occurred since last I checked ...
Would gladly head into my bathtub in a 'rocking' excellent virtual Harbin, but Harbin might also have to help create this with Google ...
Virtual Scotland too ... in Google Street View ... Has Google already developed financial arrangements with Scotland for Google Maps' traffic info and even for other related IT infrastructure services (including possibly police but re-written due to IT - AND databases of license plates with machine learning and names even?) Who knows, but perhaps WUaS can collaborate with Scotland Google for students who are 'driving' in their studies, toward free degrees :)
Ongoing seeking of partner, friend and someone to connect with HERE ... And to begin family ... Traveling mode on east coast could open possibilities, but if I could possibly meet someone here on Cuttyhunk (or in Pittsburgh thru even Sue Davis Claus, or Stephen Epple, or Ken Thompson MD there) my living on west coast could come to a close ... or perhaps she could move out west ...
What are you up to this week and today? How are you doing?
Fond regards, Scott

Hi Taylor, (with whom I've been sharing piping lessons, both when he was living in the SF Bay Area, and in Georgia),
Good to hear from you, and how are you? How is piping going, and how is your family growing, Emma-wise? Greetings to April.
I was able to set up an internet connection via a HotSpot from phone to laptop screen, so am writing to find out whether you might like to schedule music-making re a lesson towards the end of the month. I'm heading away from Cuttyhunk island, MA, next week until about Monday July 19, and wonder whether some time after this might work for you (and before the 30th).
Are you finding your way to playing the Highland Bagpipe at the moment? Glad the session was thrilled you brought Scottish small pipes. Piping on Cuttyhunk is good ... Somehow this island is inspiring for music making (http://scott-macleod. blogspot.com/2021/07/ dungeness-crab.html) and I've also played here for years - and in new ways for the SSP.
"The Little Spree" (Piobaireachd) and "The Cameronian Rant" (strathspey), or ...?
Musical cheers, Scott
