Cuttyhunk island ...

Post the non-SARSCov2 non-epidemic of the past many months (March 2020 to now ... ) ... which may have been helpful for getting data useful for reversing global warming even in the 15 months of downing the airline industry, and the car travel industry ... Perhaps we can learn what we need to do to reverse CO2 out, and get back to 1970's temperatures on Cuttyhunk! :)

Hi Ma, and Sandy,

That back porch rug really brightens things up out there ... but since we're now supposed to be getting about 3 days of rain (thunder and lightning are no longer in the forecast) beginning this PM, I may wait to put out the green and blue and orange rug until after the rains end. Weather is so changeable too! Oh, but lightning on the laptop screen, not the smartphone screen, is still forecasted for today - https://www.wunderground.com/forecast/us/ma/cuttyhunk/02713 ....

And your HOME, Ma, in Verona, PA, is so lovely! .... and spacious, and the sun room makes for such a nice sleeping space, - and even in winter, I understood you, to say! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality, and it was so nice to see you these past few days!

As I type the day seems to be getting cooler, although 79F was forecast earlier ... as if rain could be imminent.

David Thurston is coming over this afternoon around 2:30 I'm glad to write ... it's been a long time since the 1970s when I used to head over to the Thurston's house, Goggy's house (his grandmother Peg, I think), and knock on the bunk room door next to their basement garage, to see if David is there to play tennis (or go sailing). We may head out for a walk to the West End, or talk here. (Thanks, Ma, for suggesting asking him when there might be some good times to meet on the beach, per his suggestion of a meeting place:).

I bet the brown bathing suit is here in Piney's House, and close to right under my nose, but I'm somehow blind, and am not yet finding it. Could be helpful if it doesn't rain, and David and I walk out to soak in West End Pond in warm-ish water (not yet with digital masks ... of a realistic virtual Harbin Hot Springs -

Time to do some laundry and sweep the floors, after playing my Scottish small pipes first!

:) ... and did these past 15 months allow us to work from home in new ways - and into the future too - and will this lack of traveling by car to work in the future by people in all 200 countries, since they're working from home, factor significantly into global warming greenhouse gas reduction in a brand new way?

Thank you Sandy for the beautiful new back bathroom and for everything working well in Piney's house - like the gas stove, and all the electricity and the appliances and other house stuff! :) Thank you both! And see, talk to you soon!

Love, Scott

Turns out the weather didn't rain or thunder - just a loud plane buzzed over this part of the island (after I sent the previous abolition email) ...

Kind of not too humid to dry clothes, and indeed there's a load getting cleaned in the wash machine now ... May top off the line drying with some dryer action in the early evening ...

David comes over soon ..
Will look for swimming trunks 😉 again, but think he might be overbooked for Cuttyhunk z-time ..
Since he's leaving on 7/3 ... So I may head out to the West End ponds on my own later :)

How are you doing? How's the weather by you two? Nice to bagpipe this morning ... Soon to focus my further learning ahead when I play again ... A meditation via a kind of easing concentration perchance :)

Love, Scott

David stopped by for about 30 minutes ... very nice to see him, and chat. Jim Lovell's memorial service is tomorrow at 12 noon in the Church, and with a remembrance celebration in the Cuttyhunk Fishing Club afterward. Glad David told me about this. As we talked, I mentioned living in a 'safe house,' that I might like to do further actual field work at Harbin Hot Springs, before possibly moving back east in 2022 (and in seeking a life partner in doing so), and then doing virtual Harbin field work, and even publishing my second Harbin ethnography from Google Street View, text in the sidebar. In talking about Harbin, Daivd reminded me that Ishvara / aka Bob Hartley had roots in Padanaram, and I mentioned DC too - and that I think he had been over to Cuttyhunk perhaps in the 1950s and knew Jim and Flora Lovell, and possibly others on Cuttyhunk too. Small world ... Heading to Jim Lovell's memorial tomorrow could even lead to further travel after this summer - and up to Harbin this winter for field work, before moving east possibly ... and I could then fly out west occasionally, and with students over the following years of field work, and further Harbin Hot Springs' projects -

The rain just began in earnest, and 15 minutes ago as it was beginning to sprinkle, I moved my significantly dry clothes off the line, to dry them completely down below ... Clean bed clothes tonight :) ... but now it has eased off again ...

Just after emailing the abolition missive earlier, and the plane buzzing over soon after, including to Grant Schenck, the vacuum cleaner also sounded from there ... quite some musical instruments in a wee ensemble! :)

Didn't find the swimming trunks on round 2 of search ... may pick up a pair when I head off to see Henry and Victoria, or even find a pair elsewhere on island ... but probably won't go skinny dipping :)

Love, Scott

Hi Ma, Sandy, Susan, Ed, All,

Some pics from my trip, SF Bay Area to Cuttyhunk Island MA, - Fort Fred Steele in Wyoming, to Mitchellville, Iowa, to Pittsburgh, & State College, Pennsylvania, to Hartford, Connecticut ... Thus far ... (And I hope new developments in Android smartphone OS in India will lead to a brand new approach to photos on the Google Pixela smartphones too:) ...

Methinks I'm safe here - on the 'underground railroad' - from the latent culture of violence of the international illegal sex industry, having left living in a 'safe house' in the SF Bay Area on Sunday 6/20/21 by car, on a freedom trail to the east coast ... eg From the perpetrators and offenders (eg in Canyon 94516) thereof, that might do anything to keep their businesses going ... abolish the ILLEGAL international sex industry (a form of slavery), in all 200 countries! Protect innocent and minors, and with enforceable law (and non corrupt law enforcement ) ... and now information technologies too (the the Apple Google coronavirus tracing App ... And even Google Nest v Yale Locks)

Am seeking to facilitate high quality online talk psychiatry by MDs in all 200 countries and their languages too ~ https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Psychiatry ~ in these regards at WUaS so people don't get trapped into these lives if crime or law breaking (if decriminalized, if still illegal) ...

MORE about my whistle-blowing in some of these regards re SF Quaker Meeting, PYM, UC Berkeley Law, Cal, & UC itself, Stanford, Canyon, Harbin, all in California, and Reed College in Oregon ... In my blog as well ..

Greetings from another underground stop on the road to freedom (I hope),
Scott
