Global climate change documentation re oceans' rising - and in a realistic virtual earth for everything and oceans?

Hi Betsy, Cuttyhunkers, All,

Nice to see you on the road today again on Cuttyhunk, Betsy. Did you get your book?

Here's info about the full moon high tide timing and regarding evidence for oceans rising due to Global Warming - with Cuttyhunk as reference with its stone jetties, dykes, and docks - the visual evidence for which I did NOT see this morning. ....

"Regarding Global Warming, and the full moon on your birthday, Sid, on July 23rd, 2021 - https://www.timeanddate.com/moon/@4943231 - I went out this morning, too early, to take some photos of oceans and rocks as references for possible oceans rising in a time of Global Warming (having seen - using Google Voice - that high tide this morning, Sun 7/25/21 was at 8:12am, erroneously, I think) ... for a mini-observational documentation - https://photos.app.goo.gl/WtrqZABAnB7v86ZE7 .

Seeking to take photos now today at 10:49 am ET on Cuttyhunk at high tide which is pretty close to the full moon - and this is a long term photographic documentation project potentially on Cuttyhunk as I envision it ... for the fun of it ... in the summers on Cuttyhunk over the decades ahead ...at full moon high tides, if I'm on this island!

Happy science birthday, Sid! "

Warmly,
Scott

Am interested in adding oceans and tides and moons into Google Street View with time slider, Maps, Earth ...
see ...

& see this #Hashtag here -
#RealisticVirtualEarthForOceans

and such that I (and others) could add my photos and possible videos too for further evidence over the years ...

So, now ...

7/25/2021: The tide now in Cuttyhunk, MA is rising. Next high tide is 10:49 am

Happy Birthday, Pin ! I hope you're having a great weekend! Hoping too you're celebrating with your parents 😉 too!

How are you? And how are you celebrating your birthday this weekend?

I keep missing high tide on your full moon birthday and taking photographs on Cuttyhunk of stone dykes and jetties as observations of the state of ocean level rise ... on a human scale too, but will seek to share some pics from tomorrow morning ... .
since Boston's high tide is very different from Woods Holes' which is slightly different from Cuttyhunk's ... and Google Voice hasn't passed my questions accurately yet either ...

Happy birthday 🥳!!! :)

My organizer says it's your birthday today - so I'm writing to wish you a very happy birthday!

It was so great that you visited me in Canyon 94516 not too long ago, - and with Mary, Saumitra and all! Thank you for visiting, and it could be fun to celebrate a birthday of yours in Canyon too in the future!

Here are some great Allman Bros' concerts to celebrate with -

Will check out the Cuttyhunk Fish Dock at 11:25 pm tonight on the Full Moon to see if the oceans are rising relative to the stationary planks of the Fish Dock ... (http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2021/07/full-moon.html

St. Kilda or Hirta in Scotland - and virtual place (re virtual Harbin Hot Springs too)?

Ma,

Interesting that the top post in this family history label - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2021/06/black-eyed-susan-rudbeckia-hirta.html (which I just shared with Mark MacLeod) ...

...has hirta in its flower's name

Where Hirta is another name for St Kilda west of the Hebrides in Scotland ... And about which I wrote an emerging virtual St Kilda paper at the University of Edinburgh in 2003-04 ...
"Physical and Online St. Kilda: A Comparison of 'Senses of Place' "

Could I somehow meet someone at Mark's with ancestors from St Kilda aka Hirta or the Hebrides too, identity-wise ?  Seems possible that Mark who studies family history might even know of such a 30 yo ... And having moved to Maine recently, with its possible Scottish ancestry ...

Identity is a connecting thing ... And for having kids too ...

What do you think?

Love, Scott

PS
I wrote an University of Edinburgh Celtic & Scottish Studies M.Sc. paper on visiting virtual St. Kilda regarding 2 networks (UNESCO WHS and internet), and as a nascent virtual place in 2004, which paper is also in Academia.edu - https://www.academia.edu/1243940/Physical_and_Online_St._Kilda_A_Comparison_of_Senses_of_Place. Are you a Scot, by any chance? I've studied in Edinburgh for 2 separate years (at Fettes College in 1977-78, and at the Univ. of Edinburgh in 2003-04), and have studied too at the University of Munich (LMU) in 1981-82, through a Reed College program in Munich.

Again -
May order a Google Nest Hub tomorrow too from Walmart if I can reorder, with a 7-830 am delivery option coded into their website  ... (And hold off on the Google Nest x Yale Lock with Nest Connection in bronze for Maritime weather until we talk about this further, which Sandy could be admin for, to protect our Cuttyhunk house from illegal uses, - and even as law develops ... And since too the Nest hub for x Yale Lock with Nest Connection will probably make the front 2 bedrooms' wifi much faster + facilitate locking that back door as well )!

Got another welcoming email from my cousin Mark and genealogist - and wonder if I could possibly somehow meet a partner while with this family of mine :)

Hi Mark,

Thanks for your email, and looking forward to seeing you. I can usually find veggie oriented food (but am an ovo-lacto vegetarian, so I eat egg & milk products with vegetables, fruits, grains and legumes generally), and while essentially a teetotaler, very occasionally I'll drink a gun & tonic. (Am lesseningly allergic to cats these days, and have been allergic to penicillin in my youth).

Planning to get into New Bedford, MA, next Saturday at 4 and drive directly to Buxton, to see you, if that's ok with you.

Anything I can bring from parts south, or do to help? See you soon, and thanks again!

Cheers, Scott

PS, might we pull out our computers at some point and explore Ancestry. com (and a bit of WikiTree even? ... For 7.8 billion people, and even for editing our own genome in the future for aging reversal ?:)

Might you even make a kind of mini-presentation to MacLeods who are present - and re DNA in particular?
Am appreciative of your great work, and knowledge in these areas.

And aging reversal genetic drug therapies on the horizon could help us live beyond the upper limit of 122 yo, and per Harvard and MIT Professor of Genetics' George Church who's heralding this ... and having a great community and family and Friends or Quakers of the nontheistic persuasion, friends, and related support could be invaluable (in the centuries ahead even? - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/search/label/longevity - )
