(I inquired with Shawn yesterday further about a WUaS Lego Robotics' Educational Services' Store in Shadyside in the old Williams Sonoma building here - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2023/12/plumeria-pw-national-flower-of-palau.html). And was that you I passed jogging with a headband on Fifth avenue near Mellon park yesterday, Nick? Great to see you if it was.

I'm writing to pick your minds about how to deter someone effectively from coming into my place at 5816 Callowhill st #7, Pgh PA, (or any renter's or hotel room renter's place) since I think it happened yet again yesterday after I sent that email to many of you and Ashlee at Lobos Management Bryant Street Rentals ... with the main overhead light left on upon my return> 

I'm looking for out of the box solutions (since for ex., Google Nest Secure is being discontinued in April 2024) ... a smell ... access to possible motion activated surveillance camera footage in the smoke detectors if this exists (and even regarding turning on the light switch just inside the door)... listening to the Grateful Dead (which isn't really working) ... meditation ...  I hypothesize it's someone in the building who keeps coming into my place ... and leaving a little evidence behind ... and that Ashlee doesn't have any influence over him ... that he may be going through a kind of opponent process thinking ... (and just recently with the sound of a tape measure outside my window with fire escape for example ... taking the measure of me somehow? Also the activated charcoal bag I had left on the stairs to molecularly absorb the strong lemon pledge odor occasionally disappeared ... which was up for the taking, I guess ... and could this hypothetical criminal who may be entering my place when I'm away be the person who took it? )

My mother's coming over for another (great) visit tomorrow in the afternoon ... and often comes up with great ideas from completely unexpected perspectives ... and maybe she'll have an idea that works ... and emerging out of this group thinking process with this email to all of you too .

It seems like getting the LM Bryant Street Rentals' lawyer, if there is one, to somehow use language with the hypothetical criminal enterer (since Ashlee the landlady manager has denied that anyone is coming into my place a couple of times) ... could be a successful possible angle ... but language hasn't worked thus far at all ... 

I continue to be interested in talking with Univ of Pitt Professor of psychiatry Wes Sowers MD too (and for the benefits of networking especially ... and since further, these potentially illegal entries are causing me to suffer ... which the talking about could relieve this suffering ... and provide new ideas for security too) ... and re my emails to the Pitt and CMU philosophy lists and the Pitt and CMU presidents - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2023/12/bergfrue-no-national-flower-of-norway.html - (whose email addresses I didn't include in that email, ans see PS) ... as a form of self-defense re my father's subdural hematomas ... but have yet to hear back from the Allegheny County state of PA Compass for upmc health care coverage state agencies, (although I have received 2 emails from Kaiser Permanente NorCal at the end of last week ... suggesting I will have health coverage when I return to the SF Bay Area ... one inviting me to log in ... and where the second letter was one I sent my KP primary care physician ... about heading to asylum on the eastern seaboard of the USA). {I recall brilliant George Alexander MD from whom I learned much talking about and sharing about their house alarm on Aylesboro ... and using it ... where my parents' house on Juniata Ct had an easily accessible key ... so I think talking about these questions with a brilliant problem-solver could help with new ideas too. 

I even think of developing what I'm calling #AvatarAgentElectronicHealthRecords for all 7.9 billion people on the planet ... initially on our smartphones where the newly Agent part could become our AI MD physician suggesting what genes to add for example for extreme longevity and aging reversal (referring to the "add" word here: Harvard Medical School's Dr. George Church - "How soon could humans reverse the aging process with genetic engineering?" https://youtu.be/bnCEIPQFNnk)... could be effective in the future ... as a possible MD psychiatrist for the illegal perpetrator of criminal entries into my room ... in combination with Google Nest cameras (which Google Nest needs continual wifi as well ... and my Google Nest now is plugged in ... but not connected to wifi that I know of ... since my Android Pixel 6a smartphone is my wifi hotspot and I take it with me when I go ) ... 

If the potential illegal enterer could be like the craven psychopath? Swiss or Lebanese soldier? murder frederic khayat (and where is he now ? ... in a military prison in the southwest, back in Lebanon? ) ... and on the fringes of another country's military (official soldier or not) ... the risks are potentially great. 

Glad I've sought fairly recently for US federal protection for myself, my mother, and my brother Sandy in Maine ... in all of these regards ...

Scotty-
I suggest getting an inexpensive "nanny cam" that you can view from your phone. Set it up in an inconspicuous spot like a book case.

It is also possible that if you are under a lot of stress, you might be leaving lights on, etc., and not remembering. That happens to me when I am under stress. 

Take comfort in Occam's Razor; the simplest explanation is usually the best explanation.

If not, it could be a POOKA messing with you!

Thinking the $20 nanny cam you suggested through further as part of a system (gets complex), but with smartphone, (it might have to eventually  go through a home router or hub like the Google Nest wifi hub router for spreading signal around I have plugged in)

and my Google Nest "Sunroom" signal (name) isn't reachable with the temporary Pixel 6a wifi hotspot sole internet connection yet ... And the wifi signal goes off when I leave the premises (since I take my smartphone hot spot wifi with me ... would be great if my plugged-in Google Nest could access some of the other 10-20 individually owned wifi signals I see in the house and nearby ... for developing security reasons ... and if we could all share different signals for related security and other wifi-connection reasons).
