Thanks for your helpful message and information, and the MeetUp link for The Life Long Learners book club.  You're welcome to 'begin preparing the feature overview' for my "To the Dance of the Pools? ~ Virtually!: How Different it is to Soak at Harbin than to Realize it in Virtual Reality" book; was just rereading the Title poem (pp. 118-125), with poetry thinking about consciousness philosophically and in the warm pool, and about loving bliss, and Harbin-informed consciousness) - and was somewhat transported in re-visiting this poem, but not yet in the Glasses.

I initially happened upon this page (p 121) ... and am wondering further how a piece of meat inside our heads - brain meat - can give rise to or inform consciousness as awareness, subjective experience, sentience, feeling, of 'being aware of something internal to one's self' - and Harbin consciousness-wise ~
