playing Piobaireachd (practicing this Scottish classical bagpiping music for upcoming Scottish Small Pipes' Piobaireachd album, tentatively entitled "Honey Piobaireachd")

Love, Scott (https://scott-macleod.) ... with John D Burgess, which playing among all Piobaireachd recordings I appreciate most ... he seems to sustain certain notes in this melodic piece of Piobaireachd in a way that's moving and that seems to express the Piobaireachd idiom movingly (and 'non-formulaic-ly' like many of the greatest recordings of those, it seems to me, who have won very top Piobaireachd competitions) ... and then, when the music stopped (the recording was Over) I started to play the piece again on my own (ie not sound in earphones) thus hearing my playing in a new way ... but stopped yesterday after the 1st variation (where I did this same process with the Battle of Auldearn the day before, and beginning with Donald MacLeod's tutorial, which is interspersed with his comments, so broken up a bit) ... due to feeling bad somehow while practicing the Desperate Battle ... Am reminded and return to these Guidelines for Practicing a Musical Instrument - http://scottmacleod.com/"4 Concentrate when you practice.

A little fawn was just on the upper grass near the circle of pedestals with the tall human height vase in the center, a hedge surrounding the vase (kind of like a fountain without water) ... I think it might have been saying 'hi' from near this centerpiece. Was it the same one? I don't know... Could it have, now bigger, learned to hop the lower corner fence, or come down by the passageway from the street? Could it even be the offspring of this stag http://scott-macleod.blogspot.
