Yes, please add me to your Oxford Anthropology email list. Harbin Hot Springs is colorful, countercultural still I would argue per my first Harbin Hot springs' ethnographic book "Naked Harbin Ethnography" (2016 - and does one of the Oxford University libraries have this?) But while actual Harbin Hot Springs may still be counter cultural (re the freedom seeking movements of the 1960s and 1970s) it's possibly newly somehow under the oversight of the US Federal Government and the state of California - eg to continue to keep international organized crime knocked back (and it gets a fair number of international visitors) - and after the valley fire of 2015 which razed Harbin. And Harbin is a church too, Heart Consciousness Church (a 501 c 3 tax exempt legal entity public charity since 1975 - and I'd posit that this is / was a hippy tax dodge too), but unaffiliated with other churches. And I'd suggest that it's the (Yogic even) meditation for soakers in the Harbin warm pool for example that creates a de facto relaxation response Yogic meditation of oneness (samadhi in 8 Limbs of Yoga), and which is an unparalleled 'oneness.' Along with the clothing-optionality, and Harbin emerging out of the 1960s and 1970s, this serene soaking {Yogic I posit} meditation and hanging out in the warm pool naked, all hippy-wise, all inform Heart Consciousness Church socioculturally, I'd further suggest. "Oneness in Living" (2002) is the title of Ishvara Bob Hartley's book, who is the current founder, now 93 years old, a Harvard college alum from the late 1950s, and who's been at Harbin basically since 1972 continually. While I had one great interview with Ish (short for Ishvara) in writing my book, he wasn't a main anthropological informant in "Naked Harbin Ethnography"; Sunheart Sunheart was. But maybe Ishvara will become so in my upcoming 7th book, and second physical-digital Harbin Ethnographic book project, potentially in developing a #RealisticVirtualHarbin for this further - and actually and virtually too.  Thanks so much for your email just now, Bill, and in reply to mine on June 27, 2025. Looking forward to your showcasing my "research for our {Oxford Digital Ethnography] students and regarding even new digital research methods and would be very happy to keep in touch about this."  I continue to seek to do this further in a #RealisticVirtualHarbin, and potentially eventually in #TextInTheSidebar and with a #RealisticVirtualEarthForAnthropology and #RealisticVirtualEarthForMuseums, a #RealisticVirtualEarthForArcaheology + in one iterating #RealisticVirtualEarth (and think Google Street View with Time Slider, GMaps, and even with avatar agents becoming informants in the field, and so much more, - as well with Gemini AI and Google DocsLive when it's available later this year potentially).

The Department of Continuing Education, University of Oxford, is offering a summer short course, Digital Ethnography, which will run between 16th July and 5th September. The main aims of the course, which is targeted to doctoral and/or advanced research students in the social sciences, is to equip students with skills in digital research methods for purposes of advancing their own research objectives and to familiarise them with key research themes and issues, as well as related academic literature. Students also conceive, develop and undertake (with guidance) a small-scale, independent, hands-on digital research project over the duration of the course, the results of which are discussed in the final session.

As i wrote this afternoon to Kristin (Connelly, Contra Costa county Clerk-Recorder and former lawyer),  Konrad (Alt, attorney), Ed (Smyth MD), Grant (Fine, attorney), (US senator and former Harvard Law professor Elizabeth Warren), all, I'm doing everything peacefully I can do to stay alive regarding these death threats, and as I and World University and School seek to move forward further into a newly safe vacant with property deed 670 A Ridgecrest Rd, Canyon 94516 where I lived for 13 years until calling the local Moraga / Lafayette police twice due to numerous illegal break-ins and thefts and after a Sheriff D Lynch came to take a report, then moving out into a safe house north of Berkeley in El Cerrito, for about 2.5 years, and then fleeing for my life to the eastern seaboard for another 2.5 years, and please see further the related emails below.

Drove out toward the Contra Costa county offices, and almost there at a little after 9am, I found a nearby park - Diablo View I think it's called ... (I had a view of Mt. Diablo which Native people called Mt Tuyshtak from 670 Ridgecrest Rd, Canyon 94516 for 13 years) ... Good to walk up the hill into this park ... Am heading into the county offices soon to inquire about the property deed to 670 Ridgecrest Road, Canyon 94516, re Public Record, or what ... "The indices held by the Clerk-Recorder are filed by owner name, and not by address or parcel number. To find the legal owner of a property, you will need to reach out to the Tax Assessor’s Office. Documents recorded in the County (property deeds) are not included under the umbrella of Public Records Act requests" ... Will let you know what happens ... How best to proceed in these regards, and in this unusual situation, where a heinous criminal??? tom wylie, my former landlord at 670 Ridgecrest Rd, Canyon, CA 94516 for 13 years, may have just started building on this property in 1969 ... and then becoming involved even in international organized crime out of Canyon CA 94516 - and with state of CA and US federal law working effectively together in new ways? (But I have the questions & queries here, and don't have the legal evidence). Ed Smyth MD above is probably one of the best information sources here, and regarding next steps too.

How best please to obtain and sign the property deed for 670 Ridgecrest Rd, Canyon, CA 94516, if this is what is emerging, and to move forward further there, and fairly soon, please?
