Yosemite: Traveling, $80 INTERAGENCY PASS for All National Parks Plus, Free Couchsurfing.Org

Traveling through Yosemite recently {scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2009/07/eared-grebe-yosemite-road-from-east.html}, I found that the INTERAGENCY PASS was available for sale at its gates - $80 for all national parks, federal lands, and more, for a year, - for 4 people in the car. I had heard about this a long time ago, I think, but picking one up at Yosemite's east gate was so convenient ... :) nps.gov/fees_passes.htm

And while not necessarily camping in the beautiful outdoors, I've heard great things about couchsurfing.org, where you can sleep on someone's couch for free by getting in contact with them through this web site.
