Steller sea lion pups: Questions about Accreditation and World University and School, MIT OCW Video/Audio-centricity, Undergraduate and Ph.D. degree plans, Conference Method, WASC accreditation process

Accreditation and World University and School ...

These MIT OCW video lectures are what WUaS is planning on accrediting on initially -

http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/audio-video-courses/ - in around 30 departments (so 30 majors?) ...

for both MIT-centric

Undergraduate (planning for matriculation of first class in 2014) -
http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/The_College_at_World_University_and_School - and

Ph.D. (planning for matriculation of first class in 2015) -
http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Ph.D._Degrees_at_World_University_and_School -

degrees, engaging the Conference Method -
http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Conference_Method_of_Teaching_and_Learning -

for interactivity in digital spaces like Google + Hangouts,

where education is significantly a conversation (among overachievers) ...

Here's a recent conversation about this, touching on the WASC (http://www.wascsenior.org/) accreditation process,

and the free, Harvard, doctoral degree in education offered a few years ago.

Today

What are free accredited ivy league online MA or Ph.D. programs available these days?

Don't know of any ... WUaS plans to matriculate its first undergraduate class in 2014 and its first Ph.D. class in 2015, MIT-centric and Creative Commons' licensed like MIT OCW, so free
Do you know of any?
there are probably some in other countries

I hear about some somewhere, maybe Harvard ..

edX is part Harvard and free, but no degrees that I know of ...

so WUaS is the only one? Are you accredited?

And Harvard was offering a free doctoral degree in education for 3 years ... which degree you'll find posted here ... http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Courses ... but which is no longer offered ...
WUaS is planning to accredit for our undergraduate degree with WASC senior ... and for PH.D.s as I understand it's association by association ... big job

Why is it no longer offered?

I think it was a three year experiment of public mindedness, perhaps vis-a-vis MIT OCW (just hypothesizing)

So WUaS programs are not accredited yet?

Correct ... it's a three stage process for the undergraduate MIT-centric degree, and WUaS won't be fully accredited until 2018, unless we get transfer students who graduate earlier than that from WUaS, and WASC allows us to be fully accredited before 2018 ... 2015 would be great ...
