Caring and loving ... at the College and University levels?
When I think of the idea of "caring and loving" and people I've met and the universities or colleges they've gone to, I think first of friends who went to Earlham College, in Indiana, (and also to Quaker high schools) as being loving, and each person I know who went to Earlham having their own vision of love and care emerging perhaps from its culture ..."
And what about caring and loving cultures in these (what I'm calling) great universities (and below), with which MIT OCW-centric WUaS would like to come into conversation ...
I think of these universities as all being civil, in one way or another, and valuing reasoning and sophisticated problem solving and knowledge generation in their cultures, but all having under-the-radar conflicts, - and having had such conflicts in their histories ... I also think of generating flourishing caring and loving cultures as being a challenge due to modernity and for a lot of other reasons as well (at these great universities and around the world).
Here's the Caring and Loving wiki subject page at WUaS ...
... for sharing ideas, and open teaching and learning, about this.
How to generate caring and loving cultures, and at C.C. MIT OCW-centric World University and School which is planned for all 7,015 languages and 242 countries with free degrees in large languages, and perhaps learning from Earlham, Quakers and from all of our (in all languages) combined wiki thinking?
WUaS focuses presently on aggregating the following great universities' Open Educational Resources, their Creative Commons' licensed resources and, for example, their Youtube channels of lectures and courses and similar ... but WUaS is not yet for planning on offering credit for this ... vis-a-vis WUaS plans to accredit on MIT OCW Audio/Visual Courses - http://ocw.mit.edu/courses/audio-video-courses/ ...

IN WHAT WAYS MIGHT WUAS generate caring and loving cultures and at C.C. MIT OCW-centric World University and School, planned for all 7,015 languages and 242 countries, with free degrees in large languages, and, AGAIN, perhaps learning from Earlham, Quakers and from our combined wiki thinking?
