How are you? How are your genealogical research forays going? How is your summer going?

Here are some pictures from the time of your great MacLeod family gathering last summer -

Am heading to the east coast of the US today, and am wondering if I might possibly please come to visit and see you for a brief get together. It would be so nice to catch up, to learn how you're doing, to learn further about your genealogical successes and new directions. Am seeking to attend a Nucleate conference - https://twitter.com/geochurch/status/1539621471416467462? (and thanks to George Church's words, might I even meet a life mate?) - for young Biotech leaders in Boston that George Church is a lead for, on Tuesday, August 30th, and wonder if you might be around on the weekend of August 27 & 28? There's much genetics in this conference - including George Church suggesting that matchmaking sites involve genetic screening, but I'd have to tell you more after the conference ... regarding your amazing genealogical knowledge and research :)

Hi Mark,

Warm greetings from SE Massachusetts. Hoping to be on Cuttyhunk tomorrow on the 9am Ferry. May I invite you for a visit again (now that I know when I'll be there)? You may have many visitors coming in the next week, but you would be welcome to come over for a night or two, or for the day. (Ferry times depend on the day and which ferry).

Thanks for your invitation especially. And your trip to the island of Raasay for Ancestry in Scotland sounds wonderful. 

In a curious twist, am not sure if I'll be seeking asylum on the east coast of the country on September 1, or moving back into Canyon 94516 again on September 1 newly safe. A bit unsettling, but driving across the country has been good.

Could I meet a radiant life partner on Cuttyhunk this upcoming week? Who knows, but teaching Yacht Club as Head Instructor in 1979 and organizing the Talent Show that summer could curiously help, as well as being on Cuttyhunk in the 1970s and '80s and connecting well with people then ... Cuttyhunk has a remarkable underlying community center.

Work ocw.mit.edu -centric wiki World University and School is growing (see below) and while I'm not going to the George Church -heralded Nucleate BioTech leaders' Boston Conference on M August 29 & 30, I may be leaving Cuttyhunk just before then (and see the amazing new George Church video below too, suggesting very long life, genetically ... Am not sure about the implications Genealogy research-wise). Could I let you know when I know what is happening regarding your kind invitation to visit in Maine? Thank you!

Thanks for the invitation to Cuttyhunk. I'll have to take a rain check this year. We've got lots of visitors in this week and next, and Anne, Jim, Roberta and I may be heading to Vermont next week for 2-3 days of bike riding. That and a plan to move my Aunt Claire into assisted living next week will tie up my time.

Greetings from the historic Whaling City of New Bedford. Thanks for your email again.

Your family focus is impressive. Hi to Anne, Jim, Roberta, and Aunt Claire (your sister?), Brad, and family. Have fun with your bike ride in Vermont. 

Amazingly, after having reached out to the district 7 California state senator's office in Orinda, Contra Costa county, where Diana Ramirez there has been World University and School and regarding the staff contact for the WUaS Corporation initial paid taxes of $2930.98 and the CA FTB (my father's birthday in reverse), I got Senator Steve Glazer:s email yesterday due to a Town Hall he's holding on F 8/19/22. (I noticed a month or two ago that Chevron was selling its property in San Ramon CA, Contra Costa county, and moving it's operations to Texas, but keeping its headquarters in San Ramon CA for the time being). SO regarding seeking Asylum on the east coast of the country on September 1 or maybe moving back into Canyon again on September 1 newly safe, I just emailed Senator Steve Glazer and Hank Greely and Stanford Chair of Medicine Bob Harrington and some MIT ALUMNI affiliated with the district 7 California state senator's office in Orinda, below, and will see what happens.

Thank you for your invitation to the upcoming Town Hall, and your email address. And thanks again for your help with the 4 duplicate tax bills in one way or another for the WUaS Corporation and the $2930.98 initial tax bill, - and related health insurance questions (Diana Ramirez). Unfortunately I don't think I will have enough bandwidth to participate on 8/19/22.

Thanks for the information - am always learning something from you about our family tree. So would -

Alexander (Alexander 'the Humpbacked') "Alasdair Crotach" MacLeod -
 be of the Harris and Skye MacLeod lines, in contrast to the Raasay and Lewis lines (of our ancestors)? How would the theory of one common ancestor out of Africa - the recent single-origin hypothesis - 
re Spencer Wells' work (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Journey_of_Man 2002 book) fit in and be observable genetically in these four islands' MacLeod genetics, I wonder? And how to model in a realistic virtual earth for history and genetics these MacLeods on the islands of Raasay, Lewis, Harris and Skye in Scotland from the day ancestors set foot there, deductible science, to today?

Any chance when you visit Raasay in September that you could find your way to St. Kilda, or Hirta, by boat or possibly flying even, about which virtual St. Kilda I wrote my MSc ethnology dissertation at the University of Edinburgh, in the school of Scottish and Celtic Studies in 2004, and where the MacLeods were factors (tax collectors from Dunvegan castle I think) for a long time? (Am not sure what the Ancestry genealogy focus could be here ... but there may well be one:).
