Genetic aging reversal by adding genes back into aging cells is indeed a novel re-conceptualizing and not easy to get my mind around in the details. 

And what are your thoughts about AGING REVERSAL via genetic engineering - re Harvard / MIT Prof of Genetics' George Church's thinking: 

"How soon could humans reverse the aging process with genetic engineering?"
