Who here is writing books that we might read in the Proposed Reedie book group, first meeting in Canyon 94516 on 3rd Saturday this November, so Sat 11/15 around 4 in the daylight even?  Potentially the US federal government with the state of California will be working effectively in new ways, and I and the WUaS Academic Medical Center will have moved forward further to 670 A Ridgecrest, Canyon, CA 94516.

Illuminated Star Cloud: The dance or the pools? First the dance then the pools

The dance or the pools?

First the dance then the pools. Long haired folks with flowing clothes - wild and free. What a shift -

from the city.

Listen first,
hear the rhythm, dance a little, cool, - then away. Up to the pools, past the Temple with its white and colored lights.

(A woman at the dance
is topless.
She starts to make out with her friend on the pillows). How glorious.

And Harbin's evening illumination is all around. So soft, - and
so nice to be back ... Rainbow Gathering? ... The moon is out,
the garden grasses

are high, and the air is fragrant.

I walk up and there inside Stonefront lodge, I see her feet,

for she is lying
on her back
on a sofa, reading.

Past the Gazebo,
under the starlight,
I walk farther
up the way
past Redwood lodge under the sun deck, and into the pool area. Welcome home.
It's dark.

I go into a bathroom, shut the door,
and write some more - this here now.

To the warm pool now, leaving my clothes
on the benches
under the grape arbor. To the pools.

In,
in ease under,
holding my ears,
float ...
Then to the shelf at one end,
and into lotus pose,
now relaxation response, MMmmm.

Inside, I go deeper - she's pretty -
then out of the warmth and into the hot pool.

In the dark,
the candle -
in its holder with holes that illuminate
a heart image in metal - looks like a golden brooch on the neck of the woman's bust
with flowers in her hair above the whale spout.

The hot pool is
so beautiful illuminated by candles in many ways,
and steam,
in the night,
rises.

And there a woman
sits on
the dolphin railing stairs, receiving the heat
from this earth's energy.

Out of the pool,
I head to shower, skipping the
cold plunge,
and walk through the dark pool area, cement under foot -

it's joy to be walking naked here -
to the new little deck at the far end

of the pool area. No one is around - Stars -
then back,
put on my clothes walk down through Harbin again,
into the garden, and past the temple

and to bed.

listening to the Dead,

I walk up
past the temple
with the dance,
up through the
wet, dark, verdant garden 
and ascend the steps
of Stonefront Lodge.

Walking down past me, he asks 
"Are they dancing down there?" 
Nice words :)
Yea, they're dancing,

the Health Services' Massage Office 
and into the pool area dressing room. 
Five women are naked,

the warm pool

at the end of the pool

into the now~
Home again.

Rain drops
in the pool
form spider webs. 
Rain drops
on our heads
bring weather home. 
Wet from above,
and the warm
water is all around ...

such a fluid world.

Out of the pools,
I walk down to bed.

In the morning,
I awake with money 
concerns.

Here are some further questions for you re Zoom's iterating Agentic AI, some of which, brainstorming-wise, MIT OCW-centric wiki World University and School seeks to develop in innovative ways with AI and ML further :

One thing I've found remarkable about teaching and learning in 3D virtual worlds (beginning even in around 2006 or 2007 on Harvard's virtual island of Second Life, and just as voice was being added to SL) ... was the potential for 2 channels of communication in the learning conversation ... voice AND text chat, where the open TEXT CHAT during OFFICE HOURS in CyberOne: Law in the Court of Public Opinion course I was in (a lecture too even) WAS an opportunity for STUDENTS to engage and generate a conversation, leading even to a text-document which could become a library document, scholarly as well. How to develop this with Zoom agentic AI? 

And in some of these regards, search on  - 

"It was great to have free, interactive classes online exploring the possibilities of virtual worlds, etc.


It was also particularly the office hours (facilitated by Becca Nesson) in Charles Nesson's class "CyberOne: Law in the Court of Public Opinion with Rebecca Nesson and Gene Koo" in Second Life in 2006, as well as in the class itself (prior to the introduction of voice in SL) where the potential for 'flow experiences' (i.e. absorbed mind viz. Csikszentmihalyi's book "Flow" - what enjoyment is per his psychological studies) in group text chat emerged for me."

Thoughts about aging reversal and extreme longevity genetic drug therapies emerging (FDA approved)?



There are no FDA-approved genetic drug therapies specifically for "aging reversal" or "extreme longevity" in humans as of November 2025. 
Current research in this field is primarily in the preclinical (animal studies) or early human clinical trial phases, and the FDA does not yet recognize aging itself as a disease indication for which a drug can be approved. 
Current Landscape and Developments
  • Research Focus: A great deal of research is focused on understanding and targeting the fundamental mechanisms of aging, with the goal of extending "healthspan" (life lived without disease). Promising approaches include cellular reprogramming (using Yamanaka factors), senolytics (drugs that clear senescent cells), and compounds that affect metabolic pathways (like rapamycin and metformin).
  • Genetic Therapies: Gene therapy for aging reversal has shown promise in animal models. For example, studies have demonstrated that gene therapy using partial reprogramming can extend the lifespan and improve health markers in mice.

In summary, while the field of aging reversal and extreme longevity is advancing rapidly with promising research and emerging clinical trials, there are currently no FDA-approved genetic drug therapies available for human use in this capacity
