I think part of the idea of abolition is that the buying and selling of people is wrong, ethically, and that the illegal sex industry, or slavery's, networks of violence have been atrocious - atrocity-wise, in so many ways. Even with the role of money-making and commerce in the US slave trade in the centuries prior to the Emancipation Proclamation in 1862, abolitionists sought to enact legislation, laws, and change this culture ... and were successful, such that millions of PEOPLE are free today (since the Anti-Slavery Act of Britain in 1833 too).

And could this blog post, and these sentences, even be a form of 'thin description,' anthropologically, regarding MIT Professor Alex Forte's
post in text chat, in yesterday's and the day before, MIT Comparative Global Humanities' conference which I attended?

As we may know (but when?), Quakers only added the Stewardship word to SPICES - as values too - in a sense, and which may inform World Univ & Sch moving ahead ... fairly recently in Friends' 350 year history, re SPICE .. which may have referred also to Quaker's focus on economics too, and re ethics or morality of money, in abolition regarding the abolition of slavery over the past 250 or 350 years. (Socially responsible mutual funds, since the 1970s, for example, are an outgrowth of Quaker thinking, I'd suggest). 

Am hoping such Friendly testimonies will also inform potentially WUaS facilitating distributing a single cryptocurrency, backed by most countries' central banks, in most of ~200 countries, to end poverty via UBI Experiments. If the WUaS Corporation can have the good fortune to even be able to list for example Stanford Mine Pi, as this, on the new Silicon Valley long-term stock exchange, in planning to code for all 7.8 billion people on the planet, each a Wikidata Pin# , that would continue this trajectory of Friends' thinking. If WUaS can also plan coding-wise, re artificial intelligence and machine learning, to abolish the illegal sex industry internationally and other  forms of crime, this will help and may free millions of more people.  

And all re these two 'seed' websites (for the WUaS Press - not of counterfeit money:) ... and the WUaS Corporation, and after taking last week with a rep from the CA franchise tax board, for the first time, since incorporating in 2017) -

As a conscientious objector (CO) in a good Quaker or non-theistic Quaker f/Friendly, sense, am going to hold off from coming to Open Band until at least the new year even as a kind of whistle blowing protest. Am living in a 'safe house' and potentially seeking asylum in the spring, on the east coast or Europe or? ... for whistle blowing, and calling the Moraga police about 670 Ridgecrest Rd Canyon twice last summer, as well as whistle blowing about ethical wrong doing at Stanford, UC Berkeley, Berkeley Law, The SF QUAKER MEETING, Reed, Harbin (and regarding the illegal sex industry tragically) ... And am not seeking to become a victim.

Hi Patti, 

My deepest condolences on the loss of your friend in Austria. 

And thanks too for your concern. I have made good use of psychiatric services at various times in my life, so I know whereof I speak too, and I can assure you I am fine, just grieving a bit as well, and for the 5 million, one estimate, who have died, in some ~200 countries, during the coronavirus pandemic, but not epidemic. 'm glad to write however that no one I've known personally, that I can think of presently, has died. Thanks for your emails.

I hope this email finds you well. Thanks for 'The Lament for the Old Sword' Topical. I'm wondering if I can teach, as a consequence, "Beloved Scotland, I Leave Thee Dreich" to Taylor this week, in some ways as you taught "The Lament..." To this end, I'd also like to record "Beloved Scotland ... " in A, like your recording (but I wish I played virtuosically:), for Taylor to learn from, and play with on his SSP with A chanter, and as a way to begin my 2nd piping album, after all, and also for me to learn Piobaireachd further. Any chance we could schedule a lesson this week sometime? (I paid for two when I signed up for the Topical). And when we meet, I'll ask again if Taylor can join your Topicals every 4 weeks please.
