S/he ... seems to be in a perpetual "mirror / imaginary" stage esp. in a Lacanian sense, but who's possibly not in a position to go through Lacanian psychoanalysis or similar ...

Groups are a funny thing (and re individualism especially) ... 'troopbondage' is John Money's word (http://scottmacleod.com/anthropology/determinism.htm), which idea isn't explored that much in American society I've observed (remember I'm a a bit of a social scientist, and I'd say words like 'society' and 'group' etc are talked about, by way of comparison, much more) ... but troopbondage not so much ... and there are other dynamics in the troopbondage, ... what if there are other financial ties contributing to the troopbondage of the ... community in SF, completely apart from  ... ?  (See, too: https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2014/05/eastern-cottonhead-rabbit-building-on.html and https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2011/05/northern-gannets-pairbondage.html).

In my individualism (and I think my good ethics) - and re this troopbondage idea too - I have sometimes thought whether in thinking for myself as I engage different 'troops' (of human primates, and as one?) that I could be construed as somehow 'infiltrating' a couple of groups - SF Quakers, Harbin Hot Springs, Canyon, CA, and possibly ... curiously ... but I don't think so ... I went to Quaker Meeting in SF, I went to Harbin to soak and to write an actual-virtual ethnographic book (getting permissions along the way), I live in Canyon, and I go to ... (even for thinking outside the box about 'bliss generation' via this art form) ... but troopbondage is a curious thing re individualism ... so I seek to mind my own business in many of these situations, as well as keep my mind attuned to The Desiderata - http://mwkworks.com/desiderata.html.

Appreciating the 'troopbondage' - or community - of Cuttyhunk much ... (where I also 'mind my own business') ... and hope you are as well.

So while this writing and thinking above is all in the "symbolic" world re troopbondage, .... re a kind of "realism" (in Jacques Lacan's sense) ... and maybe even re a crazy/violent one at the SF Quaker Meeting. Who knows ... troopbondage is a very age-old complicated set of processes that have their roots in our phylogenetic history.

I suppose the above is some psychological (and anthropological and sociological thinking) .. re the personal ... thanks for reading, M!

L, Scott

Dear Mr. or Ms.,
I thank you for your efforts. As risk factor Wikidata property is added to Wikidata yesterday night, we will use it to enrich Wikidata with the risk factors of diseases using an automatic method of bibliometric-enhanced retrieval of biomedical relations. As we would like to have your opinions about this automatic method, we invite you for a Skype discussion tomorrow at 11 AM (GMT). For those who would like to participate to this meeting, please reply to this email and confirm your participation. I will send you my Skype username.
Yours Sincerely,
Houcemeddine Turki

Re: [Wiki-Medicine] Invitation to discuss RiskData:, Wikidata as a high-scale [high-level?] database of risk factors for human diseases

Dear Mr. Houcemeddine Turki, WikiMedicine, Wikidatans (and Wikimedians),

I would like to participate in this Skype conference (and with regard too to WUaS's planned online medical schools, with online teaching hospitals for online clinical care - planned in each of all ~200 countries' official and main languages). Please send me your Skype username off-list. Thank you, Houcemeddine.

...

Here's the beginning online Medical School at WUaS in English - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/World_University_Medical_School - which will connect with Wikidata as its "backend" eventually. And WUaS also seeks to emerge out of Stanford Medicine and with OpenCourseWare in multiple languages for our medical schools.

Sincerely, Scott

Hi Nancy and Abdelwaheb,

Re Wikidata and Wiki Medicine -
Here's the beginning online Medical School at WUaS in English - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/World_University_Medical_School … - which will connect with Wikidata as its "backend" eventually. And WUaS also seeks to emerge out of Stanford Medicine and with OpenCourseWare in multiple languages for our medical schools.

Here are some of our contacts

Houcemeddine Turki (in Tunisia)-

( Nancy Gertrudiz (in Mexico city, Mexico, I think) -

Scott MacLeod (in the SF Bay Area, USA)
Languages-World Univ - https://twitter.com/sgkmacleod

Looking forward to staying in communication about Wikidata for online medical schools, online teaching hospitals, and for online clinical care, potentially emerging out of Stanford Medicine.

Sincerely, Scott

Dear Houcemeddine,

Thank you too for your emails, and your interest in WUaS's online medical schools - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/World_University_Medical_School - too. WUaS has this fairly new WUaS Miraheze MediaWiki because WUaS donated ourselves to Wikidata in 2015. Soon this "front end" will connect with Wikdata / Wikibase as a "back end" so this "front end" - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/World_University_Medical_School  - is where we'd likely add risk factors re Wikidata as a "back end" and in Arabic and ~300 languages.

See you online at 3pm GMT tomorrow Aug. 18 - https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html?iso=20180817T150000&p1=3304&p2=tz_gmt - and, if possible, please respond to the text messages I've already sent you in Skype thus letting me know you have gotten them and that we are connected re correct Skype usernames.

Sincerely,
Scott
