Hey Jerry,

It was really great! to see you as well, and thanks for suggesting meeting at Wajan's too. (Thanks too for your email, and you're welcome).

Greetings from Reed. And here's the 'Longevity' label at WUaS - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/search/label/longevity?m=0. It's particularly these writings and video that I'm looking at - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2019/06/montane-ecosystems-longevity.html - presently Looking forward to staying in touch about these questions as well. Please keep me posted about what you might learn in these regards. (I'll see if there are any online Youtubes by Jill Helms).

Just ran into Stanford CS professor, Eric Roberts, who's now teaching at Reed, and has some Quaker background (and his wife went to Reed). Do you happen to know each other:)? (His wife is a Reedie).

Am curious if Friends' research may somehow emerge in these regards as well (and possibly re MIT OCW-centric World University and School).

Scott

Dear Jerry,

Here's a Youtube with Jill Helms, with President Hennessy in the audience she says at around 4 minutes -

Longevity with Jill Helms

https://youtu.be/pFnxhWmHBt0

Am curious how we might talk further about some of your ideas for licensing World University and School with the state of California's Bureau of Private Postsecondary (BPPE), and even related funding for this. World Univ & Sch is seeking the initial ~$5000 for this + an annual fee after this, and is partly networking here at Reed Forum for Advancing Reed in these regards; see, too, this blog post - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2019/09/klamath-mountains-ecoregion.html?m=0 - at bottom beginning 'Hi Konrad, Keith and Govind, ....'

I'm not sure about Quakers and monies for Friendly-informed World Univ & Sch as a 501 c 3. The Abbots' involvement with the Port of Portland comes to mind as an example in these regards too ... How might we best talk further about some of these questions, and also re the WUAS facilitation letter? (I'll share this again from the other email above). Have you worked in related issues and how might I share further possible helpful information in these regards. Thanks so much.

Best regards, Scott

to Larry, Jerry, me

Hi Jerry,

As you may have read in a previous email, World Univ & Sch has a 10% facilitation letter for people who might want to avail themselves of this fundraising opportunity which you'll find here - https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-DV_C9ZWmc5cWZPV3E0UmdaMDlKVWl1dFBoVWFOeWlPZW40/view?usp=sharing. If we all live a very very long time, such resources could be invaluable. (And Larry Viehland above is the chair of the Board at 501 (c) (3) World Univ & Sch as well).

Friendly regards, Scott
