Bohemian Waxwing: How best to grow cultures-societies of free universal education & learning that could be transformative positively of Pittsburgh and SF Bay Area & CA societies that lead to asylum-seeking, for example ... Maybe there's an opportunity in America with its abolitionist 1862 Emancipation Proclamation & free public k-12 education and 1960s' civil rights, for example ... (Stanford University in the 1960s and 1970s in Pittsburgh in the 2020s out of SSA somehow too is kind of the vision) ... via an iterating Internet in a realistic virtual earth for everything and generating loving bliss neurophysiology too :)

Bartok .... or 'bar talk'?

My housemate, a CMU music grad student, who may be becoming a symphony trumpet musician (in the PSO?), was playing a great trumpets' part recording from a Bartok orchestral piece when he got in yesterday evening. Playing with words, he reminded me - as a teetotaler who never goes out for drinks as a very old culture - of the lingo and social practices
of talking together over alcohol, or drinks. There can be an ease in this chit chat and as a possible good way to meet people in a relaxed way. In Pittsburgh possibly too.

Shady Dude Academy Homecoming today, which I don't think I've EVER been to (as a bit of a rebel, - another Pgh & SSA culture, - for me out of the '70s) ... And it occurs to me after this that bar talk could be good relaxed skills to have ... and in seeking an attractive life partner ... Am however fish out of water ... (And also in developing World Univ & Sch which is a bit of a ginormous project, maybe symphonic like, in a sense, but not bar talk or Bartok) ...

Pittsburgh (alternative) culture, my CMU Wisconsin African American housemate wears tie dye, and could also be skillful at bar talk and playing Bartok.

So at 61 y.o., how to meet - with what language? - and connect with a possible Mom to be, a friend, a life partner and possibly even over this Shady Side weekend? An introduction from a classmate (whom I'm out of touch with) who recalls my 1970s' teen age friendliness and playfulness, and who knows a bit about ocw.mit.edu-centric wiki World Univ & Sch too - to the next generation, a MD even? - somehow, regarding bar talk too? Culture here in somewhat 'staid' Pgh seems a bit more conducive to this than in California. Maybe not over this weekend per se, - but emerging from this SSA weekend? (Saw a beautiful 28 yo? woman in scrubs come into a cafe in Shady Side off of Walnut Street yesterday, possibly from Shady Side hospital ... whom I doubt went to SSA and don't know if a smart MD either ... )

Wore my kilt to the Pittsburgh Symphony orchestra last Friday, partly for World Univ & Sch outreach - and search on "hey laddie, why are you wearing your kilt" here ... http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2022/10/nodding-trillium.html
- and partly in seeking a life partner ... While Bartok wasn't played by the PSO, and there wasn't any bar talk before or after this symphony performance, it seems like some possible parties, or classical music outings too, and to connect with a life partner, could emerge out of the Shady Side Homecoming as well ..
