Questions of culture came up in both playing again with fun Lego Robotics' WeDo 2.0 kit ... getting back into building robots' fun beyond with the Lego tutorials - with a new tutorial from Youtube. And Robocamp (from Hungary maybe) maybe made a kind of racist tutorial in building a Gorilla robot. And CMU seems to engage Robocamp too.

America and aspects of its culture or alternative culture and in academics too in particular have some heightened focus on non-racism, non-classism and non sexism ... In my thinking ... And since the 60s and 70s ... And their freedom seeking movements (the student movement, etc).

And the Harmonium and Shruti box too may have their origins in Vienna in central Europe near Hungary too around 1818 - someone named Haeckl I think I read - in a Harmonium tutorial book I got in India in 2014 with the Harmonium in India. ... In the middle of colonialism (a major project of critique by social scientists since at least the 1960s). ... and while India may have absorbed it and added these instruments to Indian Raga for example - per the tutorial too - Indians weren't critiquing colonialism (racism) as they made raga, instead were kind of enslaved by colonialism tragically.  

How to learn the Harmonium improvisation -wise (where Raga is an improvisational music too)? And in a fun and playful way ... And at World Univ & Sch too? (I didn't search in Google for example, but I think the Peter Norvig Google AI thinking is very aware of not being racist ... What do you think?

Raises questions about teaching and learning and cultural or countercultural expressions - eg Rock and Roll out of the '60s and 70s is a great cultural expression of a kind of freedom seeking and creative transformative music.


And how to give rise to new creative expressions, and at World Univ & Sch too, and with great energy ... and not create new forms of slavery (like sex trafficking of women kids, men, others) or colonialism, and which is somehow liberating of people?

 in going to a remembrance at Shady Side Academy Homecoming almost a kind of Church service (where the SSA chapel however is kind of closed and locked up curiously). Shady Side Academy also lived through the revolutionary 1960s and 70s and is very aware of I think issues of race, class and gender, and equality diversity and what education can do ... Here's an unique expression of such a vision in the 10/15/22 WUaS Monthly Business Meeting and recently in Blog otherwise ...

How best to grow cultures-societies of free universal education & learning that could be transformative positively of Pgh and SF Bay Area & CA societies that lead to asylum-seeking, for example ... Maybe there's an opportunity in America with its abolitionist 1862 Emancipation Proclamation & free public k-12 education and 1960s' civil rights, for example ... (Stanford University in the 1960s and 1970s in Pittsburgh in the 2020s out of SSA somehow too is kind of the vision) ... Via an iterating Internet in a realistic virtual earth for everything and generating loving bliss neurophysiology too :)

Health insurance coverage questions in PA on asylum journey still loom (having gotten new PA driver's license and car license plate recently) too.

And in meeting SSA classmate  Ed Wilson from 1979 yesterday, a finance director of some large companies (https://www.linkedin.com/in/ed-wilson-4412456), CMU alumnus too (and who reminded me a bit of CMU professor and former neighbor of my parents' the cheery smart Dennis Epple), where Ed has family in Colorado out west, a house still in Palm Springs, CO, a house in Canada, and a house in Pgh on Mt Washington ... if I and World Univ & Sch move back into a newly safe Canyon 94516 in September 2023 (with a pretty 32 to 25 YO MD wife, who's been seeking a partner for a while) ... would it make sense to think about getting a house in Pgh in some years too (since my resources are still so so limited, or non existent, in developing WUaS for a song)? And CMU alum real estate agent Craig Melichar just sent another house possibility along in Pgh for $35,000 which I can't afford -
