Mustela nigripes: Just came across this Harvard conference on College Admissions in June, WUaS would like to become the Harvard / MIT of the Internet (in all languages and countries), 'Ecology' of great universities in America, which receive most of the applications from overachieving high school students, as well as college students

Hi, Universitians,

I just came across this Harvard conference on College Admissions - http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~sica/ and http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~sica/registration.htm -  from Sunday, June 16 (father's day) - Friday, June 21 in Cambridge with the head of Harvard Admissions, William Fitzsimmons, participating. In that WUaS would like its first high school applicants to apply for The College at WUaS - http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/The_College_at_World_University_and_School - this autumn, and WUaS would like to become the Harvard / MIT of the Internet (in all languages and countries), this conference seems like a good event to go to for $300, plus travel. WUaS networking with Harvard and MIT fulsomely will be important to this process.

WUaS, engaging a Harvard informed "Holistic Admissions" process (http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Admissions_at_World_University_and_School), now for an online, startup university, is seeking high school applicants this autumn - by January 1, 2014 - so please spread the word.

Best wishes,
Scott

Universitians,

Here's the Harvard Admissions' Conference gathering information in June, which I emailed 5 days ago, again, and it looks like MIT's Admissions' Director will be there, in addition to Harvard's Director of Admissions, as well as many other great universities' Admissions' Directors (it's a great list - http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~sica/faculty.htm), and program looks very apropos for WUaS.

...

WUaS would basically like to begin an Admissions' Department this summer to invite students to apply this autumn, and would like similar students to apply to free WUaS as who apply to Harvard and MIT, and these other great universities, so this seems like a great networking opportunity.

It would be great if these great Universities' Admissions' Directors know of World University and School's first class this autumn, and could direct student inquiries for free, online, MIT OCW-centric education to them to WUaS.

Regards,
Scott

Are you going to assist? Please keep us updated.

Hi, Juan,

Great question ...  "Are you going to assist?" ... in the Harvard Admissions' Conference from Sunday, June 16 - Friday, June 21. Thanks. I'll email Harvard's Admissions' office, to inquire whether I, or WUaS, can assist in this conference. I noticed that the $300 I mentioned previously is a deposit, and that the week-long, conference costs $1,595, plus air fare, and it would be great to be part of this great team of Admissions' Directors, sharing information about World University and School, as yet another opportunity in the ecology of great universities in America, which receive most of the applications from overachieving high school students, as well as college students.

Regards,
Scott
