Hi Quim, and Juan (and Lydia and Larry),
Thanks. I'd like to introduce you, Quim, and Juan Mendez to one another here as well. Juan is a Board member at CC World University and School (http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/World_University_Foundation - as is Larry), from Spain and who also lives in Spain, and is a programmer also. Quim works with Wikidata (is the Engineering Community Manager - international contractor - Wikimedia Foundation - https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/User:Qgil-WMF), is from Spain, and lives in Germany now, having lived in Mountain View in the Bay Area for 4 years, if I remember correctly, Juan. Quim and I had a 30 minute Skype conversation a few months ago about WUaS and the "Wiki Loves Open Data," for which WUaS wasn't the right fit at the time, I think.
I'm glad to write that CC WUaS has successfully prepared to donate our beginning Wikia wiki to CC Wikidata (i.e. we've gotten into the Wikidata daily log for example), but I haven't yet learned how I can keep developing it in a newly modified WUaS MediaWiki (accessible here - http://worlduniversityandschool.org/) or how we'll dovetail further with Wikidata's development planning. Our contacts seem to be you, Lydia, Magnus and Languages Engineering Team, with whom WUaS had a recent hour-long meeting in video conference which video you'll find here - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2015/10/asian-black-bear-world-university-and.html.
I'm curious to learn after CC WUaS is donated to CC Wikidata for its birthday, how I and others can keep developing it in a newly modified WUaS MediaWiki (accessible here - http://worlduniversityandschool.org/). Would Serge Stratan, for example, be able to begin development of World University and School in Wikidata as outlined in this proposal - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2015/10/asian-black-bear-world-university-and.html? Might I please send related MediaWiki password information (which is already installed but buggy) to him or similar at some point, Lydia?
Looking forward to the Wikimedia_Developer_Summit_2016 in San Francisco, CA between January 4th and January 6th, 2016 - https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Developer_Summit_2016 - which I registered for on October 2, 2015, and signed up in the process to give a presentation, but am happy to forego this.
I unfortunately won't be able to attend the Wikidata birthday party on October 29th from the SF Bay Area, and send my regrets.
Thank you.
Best,
Scott
