Nancy, Larry, Susan, All,

Nice to hear from you, Nancy - and thanks for joining the WUaS News and Q&A today (for which you appear at the end of this recording - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bOKBtWyqSmuBJFj4zS3cwbY7VHJOTUVm/view - and after which we talked about another ~30 minutes, that wasn't recorded). Thanks so so much too for offering to volunteer.

As a possible initial exploratory project, here are perhaps two first creative steps to reaching out to hypothetical Shady Side Academy graduates, and Fettes College graduates, for WUaS online free-to-students' Bachelor degrees, that are CC-4 MIT OCW-centric, studying from home - ocw.mit.edu

One question I have is how to plan for multiple languages (https://sites.google.com/view/worlduniversityandschool/srilanka - with Google Translate and humans too ... in the WUaS IT architecture from the beginning) in developing the ability for students to register and apply for free-to-students' degrees, through one of these following websites, first in English. Eventually, WUaS may head for this URL - http://worlduniversityandschool.edu - ... but it used to be that this followed on full accreditation. Nancy, since BPPE and WASC senior licensing and accreditation are up in the air, do you want to explore to see if WUaS can get a .edu suffix without accreditation? It could be an interesting inquiry. And WUaS seeks to build out in WUaS Google Workspace for Education with WUaS Wikidata in its 300 languages (Wikipedia's back end structured knowledge database which WUaS is in), WUaS Wikibase, and WUaS Miraheze Media Wiki ... all students and WUaS volunteers a Wikidata Pin #.

Perhaps we can explore some of this, and meet again on Monday to talk further ... all very open ended ...

Cheers, Scott
PS
On the WUaS wiki side (in contrast to degree side), here's a Children's_Literature_and_Wisdom -
(from https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Subjects) and how to creatively teach about this, grow this, and even build a human community around this (like a Wikipedia community in one of its languages) ...

And in these regards, and for your information, Denny Vrandecic is the founder of Wikidata (which again WUaS is in) ...

"Wikipedia exists in more than 300 languages, but half of them have fewer than 10 active contributors. Last week, @vrandezo spoke with @TheWorld about Wikimedia's effort to address these gaps with a new language-independent project called Wikifunctions."

Greetings, Nancy!

A newsletter might be another creative opportunity at WUaS for volunteering ... and translatable into many languages with Google Translate ... and even regarding developing the Academic Press at WUaS with machine learning, and machine translation, in GDocs with Google Translate for example.

In what ways could we grow student populations in many degrees, and in many languages eventually (with cultural creativity of newsletter writing and reading)?

Cheers, Scott

Project ECHO, WUaS Medical Schools and Teaching Hospitals, Lebanon World University and School's Med Sch., and Teaching Hospitals

Dear Ziyad, Matthew, and Sanjeev at Project ECHO,

Thanks so much for your timely and topical Project ECHO talk and conversation this morning - https://mailchi.mp/salud.unm.edu/echo-covid-19-global-conversations-emerging-strains-1573594?e=d7632e9cc2

I'm following up to inquire if you, Ziyad, and Matthew, might be interested, brainstorming-wise, in heading the Lebanon World University and School - https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Nation_States (where Lebanon WUaS would emerge from here) - online Medical School and teaching hospital - eventually in Arabic, and French, in the future. With your last name, Matthew, do you happen to speak French? (Was glad to learn today that Zoom now can voice translate into French and Spanish). CC-4 MIT OCW-centric wiki World Univ & Sch (of which I'm the founder) is planning online medical schools in all ~200 countries (per the Olympics), and in their official and main languages too https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Languages

And here are the beginning WUaS Medical Schools, (planned also online with online teaching hospitals in ~200 countries and in their official / main languages) -
https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/World_University_Medical_School -
https://wiki.worlduniversityandschool.org/wiki/Hospital - and even with, brainstorming-wise, #AvatarBotElectronicMedicalRecords and with interoperable tele-robotic surgery, in Lebanon, and in all ~200 countries (per Olympics), in a realistic virtual earth for surgery (think Google Street View with its time slider, Maps, Earth, TensorFlowAI and with realistic avatar bots, like Samsung Neons, aka artificial humans, but perhaps Google-made) And see examples below and here from WUaS Monthly Business Meeting on Saturday - http://worlduniversityandschool.blogspot.com/2021/09/91821-agenda-news-for-world-univ-sch.html?view=sidebar).

Greetings and thanks, Sanjeev, again - and great to have met you in person when you talked at Stanford Medicine Grand Rounds in 2017 (about which I blogged here - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2017/06/torrubiella-stanford-grand-rounds.html -

Thanks again for your talk today, and your great Project Echo projects!

All the best,
Scott

Your teaching

Hi David,

Is this you -
... ?

How are you doing? And how is your autumn going?

World Univ & Sch grows (and am continuing to circulate in seeking to meet and connect with a life partner talking friend ... And to begin bearing kids).

Fond regards, Scott

PS

No 'age reversal' entry in Wikipedia yet, ... but about 20 other related ones ...

Hoping declining gene function in the aging sphere per -
https://youtu.be/bnCEIPQFNnk - moves from the idea sphere to the science sphere, & even with new genetic engineering revolution reversal tools (per reversal of my eye damage, per the 2nd Pfizer dose, I hypothesize), and for 200 years' ahead, ... from WUaS in 1 single realistic virtual earth for genetics soon and iteratively :)
