Betula lenta (sweet birch): #BayAreaStammtisch friends, ... jamboard.google.com next week or soon? Could this even be a completely new way of constructing a get-together? Perhaps it would be better to explore jamboard.google.com within the Google Meet video conference - both are very far-reaching new educational information technologies based on the "seminar" principle and not the lecture or somewhat MIT OCW static websites. One possible theme, Google Jam Board as an innovative teaching and learning conversation tool - https://jamboard.google.com/ - and others you might bring to the Stammtisch, as well as this novel idea, of taking 10 photos here, adding them to a realistic virtual earth, and creating a John Cleese (from Monty Python) comedic sketch from them and more resources - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2021/09/allegheny-national-forest-create.html - or creating further a realistic virtual earth for ethnography, by dragging and dropping them, into place and time (with Google machine learning helping) ... and then co-writing, text in the sidebar, ethnography, or history, or any academic field (or notes +)

Könnte es für Stammtischlernen interessant sein, nächste Woche oder bald neue in jamboard.google.com zu treffen? Könnte dies sogar eine völlig neue Art sein, einen Stammtisch zu konstruieren? Vielleicht wäre es besser, jamboard.google.com innerhalb der Google Meet-Videokonferenz selbst zu erkunden - beides sind sehr weitreichende neue Bildungsinformationstechnologien nach dem "Seminar"-Prinzip und nicht die Vorlesungs- oder MIT OCW etwas statischen Webseiten.

How about exploring jamboard.google.com next Saturday - with a jam or two, und auf Deutsch vielleicht? Perhaps one question we all might address together is "What would I like to see or talk about in Bay Area Stammtisch?" (And here's a beginning for this - https://jamboard.google.com/d/1jqkhPPoz5AkvhSxx92O0DydC16TvDBOCw7OtlbtPzjA/edit?usp=sharing - and here's an example of my very first exploratory Jam Board from March - https://jamboard.google.com/d/1MYnjlKMmdLFo1dbznxlFJKSzvaqbxWYkkdrnPB00AFE/edit?usp=sharing - with people from all over the world; am hoping you already have permissions to add ideas, but please ask if you don't!). And with Google Jamboard - jamboard.google.com - could we explore calling this Stammtisch, in a new way, a Jam Tisch, as in #BayAreaJamTisch :) ? Pardon my Denglisch ... but sounds like an opportunity to jam learning-wise. In a sense, next week's Bay Area Stammtisch is beginning now with these Jam Boards :).


Would be interested, instead of using post-its or sticky notes in Jamboard, to creatively use our own pictures even in a jam, per this John Clesse and Chekhov theater inspired blog post - https://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2021/09/allegheny-national-forest-create.html - but perhaps with Google Jamboard in Google Street View with Time Slider (which may not be interoperable yet).


When everyone has the potential to add a post-it or sticky note or an idea otherwise, in a jam board, for ex., people can get unstuck, even become unglued, unhinged ... free to create :)
