Richard (at Oxford) and Peder,
Thanks very much for your very edifying ISSIP Service Innovation Triangle Model ISSIP presentation today.
The question I posted into the chat area is -
How does or would an explicit information-focused group of firms add to, or come into conversation with, your consumer-service-firm model?
As a specific case, I'm thinking in terms of Creative Commons' licensed World University and School, which is like CC Wikipedia in 288 languages with CC best STEM-centric OpenCourseWare (eg CC MIT OCW in 7 languages and CC Yale OYC) ... and also articulates with, for example, the free-mium information-oriented Google, - and World University was Google-verified in May 2015, so we'll also collaborate with Google, in addition to the other two companies above.
Besides WUaS' explicitly information-technology company focus, a) Creative Commons' licensing is another unique aspect of WUAS, as is b) wiki (group web page editing) WUaS vis-a-vis your model, as is being c) an online university planning to accredit in all countries' main languages, while also facilitating wiki-schools for open teaching and learning in all nearly 8,000 languages.
Will WUaS's a) CC licensing, b) Wiki, and c) (great OpenEducationalResource) university also enhance service innovations in unforeseen ways?
For example, would this explicit information focus also be able to offer greater-than-other information-oriented organizations measurable approaches to innovation in your model?
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Scott

Scott,
Thanks for your question – and sorry we did not get enough time to discuss online yesterday.
I think information-focused group of firms, such as the World University and School, fit well with the SIT model. In fact, we have modelled a number of them, such as Google. I think I mentioned that the model is not only to be used by consumer service firms; this is just the dominant logic in business today
If you participate in the WebEx in a couple of weeks, we’ll explain further how the model can be used and I think you will see the application to any firm, regardless of sector.
Happy to discuss further at the next WebEx.
Regards,
Richard.

Hi Richard,
Thanks. I think Creative Commons' licensing (CC) in contrast to copyright vis-a-vis information consumerism adds a new significant dimension to consumer service firms - and possibly in your model. CC is a new licensing arrangement for sharing information for free; see Creative_Commons_Law at WUaS
CC WUaS will accredit on CC MIT OCW in 7 languages and CC Yale OYC in all nation states -http://worlduniversity.wikia. com/wiki/Nation_States - if possible for free university degrees while also developing wiki schools in CC Wikipedia's new CC Wikidata database in all 7,900 + languages - http://worlduniversity.wikia. com/wiki/Languages - where Wikipedia is in 288 + languages and we all wrote it.
Looking forward to your next ISSIP presentation in WebEx.
Regards,
Scott
