S!

So nice to talk with you yesterday. Best job in the whole wide world - being a children's librarian, I should say!

I think I could say the same of being the head of World University and School, but I haven't thought of this in this way yet. The phrase "the best job in the ... world" does open possibilities of seeing and envisioning and creating however (Richard Branson of Virgin is an interesting possible model). And field work at Harbin possibly over a life time (are we going to live to 220, Sue?:) is a wondrous part of this best job in the world for me ... all very eclectic to be sure ... That "work" word from a Scottish perspective carries interesting connotations ... but I did make a lot of progress yesterday editing my Harbin manuscript ... http://www.scottmacleod.com/ActualVirtualHarbinBook.html ... with still a ways to go ... but seem to be on target for a Valentine's Day publication date.

In this vein, on with exploring re-learning practicing two musical instruments here as "the best job in the ... world" (http://worlduniversity.wikia.com/wiki/Practicing_-_Playing_a_Musical_Instrument) ... interesting psychological musings here thanks to talking with you ... Nice to talk with you and glad to hear you and your family are doing well.

Warm regards,
Scott

Live to be 220? Good Lord, I hope NOT. I'm already ready to move on to the next iteration. Only staying here for the marmalade and the hope of seeing grandchildren....
