Hi Galen,

Nice to hear from you. Are you still in Berkeley? I had two invitations from Deirdre Davis at Harbin a few years ago, before Sunheart died in the autumn of 2020 (and am not sure about foul play here), but I didn't head there. I inquired again with Sajjad and Deirdre last year, I think, if it was safe to head there, and in seeking a kind of invitation, but I didn't hear back. I don't know how the rebuilding is going but can imagine very slowly. So I don't know. 

Am seeking to begin field work for my 2nd actual virtual Harbin Hot Springs' Ethnographic book project - http://scott-macleod.blogspot.com/2020/12/doubledays-hummingbird-cynanthus.html (and these are the 5 UC BERKELEY Anthropology talks I've shared about this) and to begin to teach a Work World University and School course there on ethno-wiki-virtual-world-graphy ... But am in wait and see mode until, for example, I get an invite from Sajjad (Mahmoud) Wynne or lawyer and former co-head of HR David 'Edick' or Ishvara (Bob Hartley) even. Could founder Ishvara become my next main informant  (and 'Avatar' even) for next Harbin Ethnography - after Sunheart for my first Harbin Ethnography?

And could Harbin also come under the oversight of Kaiser Permanente Richmond health organization (for psychiatric and other medical reasons)? I've been whistle blowing some about Harbin, Reed College, and UC Berkeley and Berkeley Law (Stanford too) and partly about the illegal sex industry internationally and its latent networks of violence and would like for me, and students especially, to be safe in heading freely up to Harbin in the future!

Am living in a 'safe house' north of Berkeley (since 10/1/20) and I think for calling the Moraga police twice ABOUT illegal break INS and thefts too in Canyon94516 (where I lived for about 13 years) and also I think for whistle blowing (re the multiple universities, law schools, places and organizations I mentioned) - and calling for abolition of the illegal sex industry internationally and its latent networks of violence (t.w.? in Canyon, b.h. aka Ish? at Harbin, 'bear' a lawyer affiliated with Reed, and alum there?). Welcome back. Good thinking. There's a lot of history here, but after getting permission from Julie Adams ('MD', & kind of #2 in pecking order for 'decisions' after Ish, and who has been pecked a lot!) TO WRITE AND PUBLISH my 1st big Harbin book, and after a great interview with the founder, Ishvara, ~ and after Sunheart's passing too (in autumn 2020) ~ some folks at Harbin (maybe the first two) didn't want my "Naked Harbin Ethnography" book published, after all, ... so was glad that Deidre Davis, MD ("managing director' possibly sardonically construed) invited me up twice not too long ago. Getting an invite would be wise for me to do.

Re translating the Scratch programming language course too into languages, and Scratch itself as well (https://scratch.mit.edu/users/helianth/), and the people in this email, I'm including Brendon Chan, who is the project manager at Google - (and whom I know from Scratch programming get togethers at the Exploratorium museum around 2017 in SF, for example, and with Harvard GSE Prof Karen Brennan, whom, I think, is facilitating rolling out Scratch academically), - for the CC-4 licensed 'CS First WithGoogle at World Univ and Sch'

- how to keep these translation projects simple? And how to build out teams for this too? Reshma and Narjeet - I have a recollection that you've developed certificates of completion in GEG India groups that are automatically generated. In the name of simplicity, I'm waiting to update further this new edit -  https://sites.google.com/view/worlduniversityandschool/ - until perhaps we could add a further new link to this new edit with a way for students to get a certificate of completion automatically upon completion of CS First withGoogle at WUaS. Brendan? ... And from all of this I hope free-to-students' CC-4 OCW.MIT.EDU 4 year Bachelor degrees at WUaS in a related vein will emerge potentially by adding ocw.mit.edu into the Google templates for courses (thanks to the CC-4 licensing which says attribute 2) anyone can ADAPT resources with this license).
